Parsons is the same way on the field and bench. You hardly ever see him running up to one of him mates on the field, especially when things are going bad and those TV shots of him silking on the bench are priceless, it's like he's the only one player on the bench because nobody is around him in those shots.
Facts. We noticed this for a few seasons now. @stilltheguru @The Natural @WillieBeamen

Kyrie Irving was also a cancer. Cancer seems to have helped reach the conference finals.

Im not excusing Parsons, but as it stands right now, we are clearly a better team with him than we would be without him.
It also took him till his 30’s and in the right environment to get to that point. Individually Micah is our best player but football is as much of a team sport as there is. When your best player doesn’t have to be all in, it can be a poor example for the other young players coming up to reach their potential. Thats why they call it cancer, it spreads.

I see the hate club for one of the best pass rushers in the NFL who has had one of the best starts to a career for any defensive player in NFL history has arrived.

Coaches always want all of their guys at all the practices. Normal and good coaching. There is nothing else motive wise in MM comment.

So, what is Parsons doing? Obviously trying to work a big fat extension out of the Cowboys ASAP. And given the fact that Jerry and Stevie tend to be soft and cave in contract negotiations it is worth a try. A serious try. Parsons and his agent need to be told in no uncertain terms that they are at least a year too early. They need to know that the earliest extension talks will begin is after the 2024 season. And it may a season or two after that before a new contract is on the table to consider.

As an aside, Iverson's playing time is ridiculous. He's the only player in NBA history to average over 40 minutes in the regular season and play-offs. 11 of his first 12 seasons, it was over 40 minutes a game and in his 12th season, it was 39.4. He led the league in in minutes played in 7 seasons. Playing hard was not a legitimate criticism of his game.

Now the NBA practice rules are a cake-walk and, along with load management, have effectively made "longevity" over-rated.

Not sure exactly what the point of this was but I find it pretty ironic. The players are pretty comparable. The talent and physical gifts are god tier and undeniable. Sure those guys don't need to practice but what about the rest of the team? What about the example that it sets? What about the tone that it sets? Foundations are built one brick at a time and they can be torn down one brick at a time. This team is in desperate need of leadership. Someone needs to take it upon themselves to do that. You would love for it to be your best player. In this case our best player would prefer to do whatever he wants. That is fine but just remember to me you are the clown that got dog walked by Green Bay. I am sure that he does not care. I do not care that he does not care. It is out there in the universe. Baby money bags is no hero. Baby money bags is a punk.
