Not sure exactly what the point of this was but I find it pretty ironic. The players are pretty comparable. The talent and physical gifts are god tier and undeniable. Sure those guys don't need to practice but what about the rest of the team? What about the example that it sets? What about the tone that it sets? Foundations are built one brick at a time and they can be torn down one brick at a time. This team is in desperate need of leadership. Someone needs to take it upon themselves to do that. You would love for it to be your best player. In this case our best player would prefer to do whatever he wants. That is fine but just remember to me you are the clown that got dog walked by Green Bay. I am sure that he does not care. I do not care that he does not care. It is out there in the universe. Baby money bags is no hero. Baby money bags is a punk.
no point, lol just bored and posted a meme.

As an aside, Iverson's playing time is ridiculous. He's the only player in NBA history to average over 40 minutes in the regular season and play-offs. 11 of his first 12 seasons, it was over 40 minutes a game and in his 12th season, it was 39.4. He led the league in in minutes played in 7 seasons. Playing hard was not a legitimate criticism of his game.

Now the NBA practice rules are a cake-walk and, along with load management, have effectively made "longevity" over-rated.
He played hard no question it can not be denied. The question you have to ask is why did he never some off. Was it because he thought it would help his team win or was it selfish? I mean the guy never got the job done. How did it help the longevity of his career? It sure did fizzle out fast. Maybe if he was more of a leader, practiced harder and involved his team mates more he would have got the job done.

Man, crazy this guy retired ringless.
Not crazy at all. Bro was literally the definition of selfish. I guarantee you if he was ever truly honest he would admit that his attitude held him and his teams back and if he could do it over again he would do things differently.

So he was present yesterday but not today? This is literally a non issue.

Some people just gotta find some reason to hate on one of the best pass rushers in the league, I guess. “But his podcast! His podcast!!!”
He's probably in min attending the dal vs min game tonight.

Kyrie Irving was also a cancer. Cancer seems to have helped reach the conference finals.

Im not excusing Parsons, but as it stands right now, we are clearly a better team with him than we would be without him.
Right now, sure. I do worry about how he affects the locker room moving forward. Zimmer is a no nonsense kind of guy, and Micah gravitated towards nonsense. I'm sure these two are going to butt heads, and missing OTA's with new defense being installed is an awful start. Terrible look for the leader of the defense.

and why wouldnt he? He is 82 years old, he is not and nor would you or anyone else at his age say screw it, lets start over.
Oh i wasn't saying I or anyone else would. I just pointing out to poster that said he is blowing it up after this year, that no way (IMO) does Jerry do that, not at his age.

If the Cowboys put him on the market not sure he’s going to get them a boatload of draft picks, teams will probably have the same concerns regarding his commitment as the Cowboys do.
If you put a young talented player on the trading block team are certainly going to be cautious about breaking the bank to get him.

Linebacker, you just lost some respect from this former linebacker...

Asked if Parsons would practice Thursday, McCarthy mentioned a quote uttered years ago by former linebacker Darren Hambrick, "What do voluntary mean?"

YOU just advanced to the rear by following Hambrick beyond tripping over grass.

Unless you add in the multiple 1st round picks etc, he would net in a trade. We may very well be better then.
