Media conspiracy the Cowboys are undisciplined, just don’t look at the facts. Great take, MM

LOL, I got this crazy theory.......

Suppose the Cowboys players got really upset when the media wouldn't shut up about "physicality". All over the news, the internet, and sports blogs people were claiming that the Cowboys were dominated by the Broncos during their scrimmage.

Maybe they wanted to prove everyone wrong and decided to demonstrate some "physicality". They could care less about the penalties. Accusing NFL players of not being able to show some "physicality" is pretty close to calling them a bunch of p's, know what I mean?

Besides, isn't it a little hypocritical of fans to demand more physicality and then complain when players get penalized for being too aggressive?

“The penalties are clearly way too much,” McCarthy said, via a transcript from the team. “We’ll look at those and keep going through it as far as combative versus disciplined. That’s clearly the biggest negative (from the game).”

(But THIS quote doesn’t fit the narrative as well, does it?)

No he doesn't. What else is he suppose to say. What he days isn't changing the outcome.

He should have said what he is gonna do to correct what is happening instead of the lip service he is spitting out. But if you satisfied with that lip service then you do you. I want to hear the corrective actions they plan to implement for improvement.

Big Mike is clearly not fixing the penalty issue. Either you make your peace with that or you don't

Wow that is a totally messed response. It seems like he is letting the team off the hook.

He should have said "preseason or not, penalties should NEVER be tolerated."

He needs to start coaching these guys and bring in some accountability into this team. Start doing laps and benching players. McCarthy needs to start being hard on these players and kick some azz.

Lol...why does he need to tell you or me what he's going to do, no coach tells you that. That's stupid.

McCarthy has most penalized team in 2021. McCarthy starts 2022 as most penalized, but hey, nothing to see here.

No worries, "this is preseason".

The story for the week:

"McCarthy say's something stupid that Sean Peyton wouldn't"

McCarthy is making it easy for the media, fans, and Jerry to turn on him.

Payton isn't worth the draft picks. Especially with what we'd need to get him. I'd be fine with Payton if we could get him for free. Problem is, he'd cost at least a 1st round pick, and that's how we acquire talent around here.

Thats exactly what the coach is suppose to do, he speaks for the team as the head coach, it’s stupid to think otherwise.
