Yes its the preseason and as anyone who has ever done anything you become what you practice and if you are committing penalties now you will be committing them later. It also does not help that the Cowboys have a reputation for committing penalties now so refs will be looking for them (also known as Raiders syndrome).

Mike was unemployed sitting at home(Probably having Cheeseburgers) when Jerry called and offered him a nice big fat LAST check before he leaves football.

It’s been the same thing since he arrived. Nothing has changed. Are they just gonna miraculously stop committing the same penalties as soon as the regular season begins? Post above is right, zero accountability. Players aren’t afraid of any repercussions. No discipline.

i actually do not expect better...i expected this result... you guys aren't taking something key into consideration.

when you compare the amount of teams who played starters versus our cowboys team i'm sure you will find the average number of starting NFL players was lower on this cowboys team, why? we didn't play our first stringers even for a series or two...this a big deal when you are comparing these 16 penalties to a team like cleveland, who is running out 75% of their starters on series one and then saying we are the most penalized team week 1.

you guys are focusing on the micro and not the macro... the macro here is big mike got a lot of young kids reps they would never see in a game 3 years ago where dak would have played 2-3 series
