3 straight 12 win regular seasons followed by 3 straight disappointing playoff appearances.

Mike was brought in to do one thing: take a roster and get it over the hump in the playoffs.

He has failed to do that. Whining about the timing on when players gets signed in year 5 is petty.

The offensive scheme is archaic. The QB needs a running game that the entire organization for some reason refuses to address. And the entire roster is undisciplined, selfish, and come out flat and unprepared on a regular basis.

No one is giving JJ a free pass. But you don’t get one either Mike. You haven’t done what you were hired to do and you haven’t fixed the broken things in the locker room leading to the embarrassing product on the field.

You are part of the problem. Not the biggest one, but definitely part of it lol

Personally. I would have fired him after the first San Fran game and the plethora of penalties that occurred.

Not just that. But he then said he would fix them in the off-season. That would have been it for me.
Cowboys have had penalty issues since I was a child. An offseason of 20 years of poor football isn’t gonna change that.

I suspect the penalty issue is either Cowboys related or culture related. It’s odd though a guy like Tyler Smith commits the most penalties in football…and gets it in check in the pros.

Not an MM fan at all, but Jones set him up to fail from day 1. Ignoring the DT position and failing to fix weakness on the roster gets you bounced early in the playoffs, not to mention going into the postseason without enough LBs.
Makes me wonder if he already has a coach in mind. I suspect Mike’s successor is already known and they wanted a year off from football so instead of firing Mike they held on and made fit that Mike had no shot. These injuries are odd. Why was Micah not put on IR?

yep. expected this. snipping at each other. the team falling apart from top down...Jerry pointing fingers. lame duck coaches who are paid for the year anyway and know they will not be around. players sensing all of it and giving up. this is going to spiral out of control very very rapidly.

Yup. Nail on head.
PRIMARY reason for his hiring was a HUGE failure.
And all his podium lies about running the ball and fixing penalties just added fuel to the building of his 5 year Cowboy legacy that he's experiencing now.

He was not hired to go 12-5 in the regular season.

No gray area.
HE failed.
NEXT...

Very possible, knowing how the Jones boys operate. It's entirely possible that Jerry tried to force him to resign, and when he wouldn't, gave him a bad roster. I agree. There are some really puzzling injuries on the team this year. Whatever the case, it's painfully obvious Jerry and son haven't a clue on how to construct a successful playoff roster.

MM knows he is out the door. Glad he finally had the guts to say something. All this crap started with the Lance trade that only Jerry knew about. I just pray we fans get the message and realize the Joneses are running a circus instead of a football team. It’s all about the media spotlight and clicks for the Cowboys now. It’s amazing to me that a trade for a player and 4th round pick could garner so much attention. I am almost afraid of what will happen when we get a top 5 pick.

I hope he does too. I think he’s afraid of possibly hurting his future chances of getting hired but if Brian Flores can get hired twice since what he did against Miami? I’d let her rip. They screwed McCarthy over. They made him a damn man walking and everyone knows it.
He's never getting another head coaching job in the NFL. He was on the street and no one but Jerry fell for his fake analytics lies.

He ain’t wrong.

Reality is the Cowboys drag their feet on extensions, in part, as to not create space at the height of FA.

I can almost guarantee they will drag out Parsons’ contract until mid to late summer.
Drag their feet and sit in them for more money. It doesn’t even make sense lol. They don’t like to spend money on free agents unless it’s their own so they sign them to the highest price they can lol.

Mike, you had a full staff ready to go for the last 3 seasons, and what difference did that make?
you've had the fortune of having a garbage schedule for the past 3 years. This year, it's not garbage, and it shows how your lack of discipline, leadership, and preparation effects of football team ask Aaron Rodgers.
You've never been able to win an important game,
so pack your bags and hit the buffet trail.
This isn't excusing Jerry, but Mike is a total fraud.

Cowboys have had 3 straight 12 win seasons so it would be impossible for them to have a garbage schedule for the last 3 years. Strength of schedule is put together by the league based on your previous record, so I'll have to respectfully disagree with you there.

Then.... you said MM has never been able to win an important game?? I don't know how long you've been watching football, but MM coached the Packers to the Superbowl and won it. If the Superbowl is not an important game, then I don't know what to tell you.

Lastly.... you said "just ask Aaron Rodgers"? Well last I checked, Aaron Rodgers hasn't won a Superbowl WITHOUT MM.

It's not like Dak was holding out then he looked like garbage because of it. Yes Ceedee was absent and yes it could be a slight distraction but wouldn't this be an opportunity for the coaches to get other guys developmental work that would need to step up if say the receivers in front of them missed time?

I wish he'd go full scorched earth on Jerry, though I understand why he won't.
Would think there is some clause in his contract preventing this.

Suspect he knows he will be fired, hence his change in behaviour in recent weeks
