There was never any chance Dak plays this game.

They'd much rather Rush look bad.

Rush has already done the damage. People that I know that hadn’t made up their minds about Dak finally came around to seeing him for the lump of mediocrity that he really is.

Rush is playing with house money now that he beaten both teams that were in the SB AND 2 divisional opponents…..fans can’t unsee what they’ve seen Rush accomplish.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Moore turn Rush loose since the Eagles and the rest of the league have forgotten what Rush did to the Vikings last season. They won’t be expecting it possible

There are many reasons people dont like Dak his is his love for Romo.
I don’t get that either. I loved Romo but he couldn’t stay healthy.

Injuries create opportunities, which is why I’m 1000% fine with it if Rush earns the permanent starting spot over Dak. Dak needs to play well when he returns. He either will or he won’t.

The clowns bashing Dak every chance they get aren’t real Cowboys fans. They’re, well, clowns.

I have tried to be as understanding as i can because I know I was critical of romo up until 2013 but at this point alot of what Dak gets is unwarranted. some is but not all. there are about 10 really vocal fans that cannot view him fairly. I mostly ignore them but occassionally i cant help myself i adress their stupidity

FRISCO, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott will throw passes Wednesday for the first time since undergoing surgery on his right thumb, but he is expected to miss his fifth straight game Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

"We are preparing for Cooper [Rush] to start against the Eagles," coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday.

"You've got to trust the medical process," McCarthy said. "This is a 17-game season. That was my immediate response. I know Dak didn't want to hear it, but you got to make sure that he's right for the long haul, too."

Well in the first place there was never a snowballs chance in….that Dak was ever going to be ready for this game - despite Dr. Jones prognostic powers. And secondly, Dr. Jones needs to have his medical license revoked - wasn’t he saying Dake had a chance to be back games ago ?

The way Dak played against Tampa, I’d like to see him get some reps in before starting anyway.
Nothing says he won't have a bad game. Every QB has them. Bucs have a very good defense. The d-line was in his face the whole game. It happens. smh

i think the defense is going to lead us to a super bowl....dak will just be the qb that leads a middle of the road offense

I think the defense leads the way, but once Dak comes back and gets in a groove, our offense will make the top 15. IMHO, a fairly healthy, well coached team with a top 3 defense and a say, #12 offense is a genuine contender.

I’m ignorant about many things. Difference is I’m man enough to admit it. Now back to your Grammar police Karen duties.

You're also "man enough" to get your panties twisted when someone makes a joke. Now back to your insecure tough guy posture but with really, really sensitive feelings duties. Lol.

Those "inferior QBs" knew their roles and played within their limits. It's what Rush is doing right now.

Dak wants to play like Mahomes.

Dak is a lot closer to Patrick Mahomes than he is to Trent Dilfer, Jim McMahon, Jeff Hostetler or Jim Plunkett so I’m not sure what your point is. We’ve won many games BECAUSE of Dak Prescott, which can’t be said of more than a few SB winning QBs. He’s more than capable of going out and dominating a football game.

If Dallas won a SB with Dak this year hypothetically speaking, we would have done so with better QB a play than 7 of the last 22 champions at a minimum. And that’s granting the premise that 2003 Brady and 2005 Roethlisberger were already better than current Dak at that point in their careers, which statistically is actually completely unfounded and I’m being generous. So let’s stop pretending how it’s unfathomable that Prescott could win a title.

And there’s a difference between playing within one’s limits and just being incredibly limited. Cooper Rush is the latter. He’s playing within the limits given him by a truncated playbook and gameplan because venturing outside of those limits would result in disaster. Our offense is BAD right now. Extrapolated out to a full season our offense under Rush would be our worst since the early 1960s. The 1989 offense was better on a per play basis.

It's a what have you done for me lately league, and lately dak hasn't done much.

1)It’s always been that kind of a league, but now, patience is almost nonexistent, replaced by ridiculously epic overreaction.

2)Dak HASN’T done much lately. One bad game played in the last ten months or so—not a large sample size, but heavily utilized by detractors to “validate” their snark.

Son in Altamonte. I went to school at Stetson. We made out much better than most. We probably have a couple thousand in damage....a drop in the bucket compared to most.

Glad to hear that for you. I am up i75 in Palmetto (outside St. Pete/Tampa). Due to her job, my wife rode the storm out in the Sarasota County EOC. She says things south of there are pretty bad (Charlotte and Lee Counties) but none probably as bad as closer to you. I was 62 miles from the eye wall in a non-evac zone. I rode it out in our shuttered house (3 year old home so coded for 150 mph winds). Very minimal damage but man the wind and noises it created hitting the aluminum shutters was crazy. The storm was predicted to head our way until it steered south at the last minute. We dodged a bullet. Sorry your area didn't.
