McCarthy, however, can realize Dak isn't Aaron Rodgers and start designing and calling plays that are tailored to Dak's strengths (insert joke here but he does have them).

We have seen this offense perform at a consistently high level with Dak in the past. It's not happening this year. What has changed??

Big Mike calling the plays. This is not an excuse, it's a fact.
Dak and the players are running the plays.

We’ll find out on Monday night. It’s like with previous seasons you never know what Cowboys team is going to show up from week to week. This is one of the hardest Cowboys teams to figure out that I can ever remember. They absolutely destroyed their first two opponents fooling everyone into believing they had a great team. Then they go up against a 2 TD underdog, and got dominated, losing by two TDs. They rebounded the following week by destroying New England, then they ended up being destroyed the following week. San Francisco beat us worse than anyone they’ve played this season. This is the most puzzling Cowboys team I’ve ever seen.
It's like they have multiple personalities never knowing which one will show up any given game. You are right it is hard to figure this team out.

McCarthy's hard work this week is paying off. Here's some video from practice today:

Hopefully by working overtime, it means dusting off all of Kellen's playbooks and inserting the plays again. Let Dak call what he wants in the huddle and the line of scrimmage. The MM calling plays experiment should be over.

Tail end of life? It's not like he's pushing 100.. He's 59. Still relatively young, in my book, especially in today's age. 59 is like the new 49.
Exactly.................50s are the new 40s

I have a buddy from UT that I keep in touch with and he just had his first child, a baby girl........................he is 51.

Not impressed with MM. I wish we could rid of him and bring in the other MM(Mike McDaniel) and his offensive mind.

I hope he looks like Barney Fife when he comes out for the game but leave his head real big because he has a big brain. Then we know he's been working his tail off. Go Big Mike Fife

MM working overtime isn't going to fix missing wide open receivers, refusing to throw to barely open receivers, and taking unnecessary sacks

Perhaps he should dust off his note books from before he was hired when him and his buddies were living in his moms basement pretending to be coaches. They must have had some good ideas back then fueled by pizza pockets and juice boxes.

I never understood this with older head coaches, you're at the tail end of your career, and kinda grim but you're also at the tail end of life. I know money is not an issue, why wouldn't you spend that time with family?
Jeez dude 59 isn’t THAT old
