We all know he wanted 7 to end the game. Three gave GB a possession and a chance. The offense had to execute on the play. They didn’t.I liked the call. I suspect analytics does too

Been watching football 51 years and that was the single dumbest decision I have ever seen. Hands down, there is no justification, no logic that can counter this stupidity. As soon as I saw them going I shouted McCarthy just lost this game single handedly
He is the buffoon people were calling him in his 1st 2 years here
Said it over and over. The guy that beat us today is the only reason MM isnt permanently watching film in his barn.
I thought it was the right call
I liked the call
.....with help from the OC working the dumb culture. Tolbert in OT?It was not a gimme FG...would have been about 54 yards in the cold. You saw how kickoffs for both teams were short all game. If it was a little closer then you kick the FG but at that point, you should feel more confident in your "Top-10 QB" being able to pick up 4 yards in two plays.
But I'm not defending McCarthy overall - he is still not smart and contributes to the dumb culture
I’d like this post 100 times. If you are going to be aggressive you call a run of some sort on 3rd and 4.If you know you're going for it on 4th down, why not run the ball twice? We were moving the ball on the ground.
And why the heck was Tolbert even in the game there? Who decided that? You have one WR on the field and it’s a guy who doesn’t even play and you thinks it’s going to make them think you are throwing or something?Absolutely moronic in game coach that doesn’t understand time management or game situation. Ridiculous to go for that. Absolutely ridiculous.
and who runs the ball and then calls time out with 2 seconds left on your own 30!
it’s actually hard to make as many poor decisions as he does
I like how every interception is now ceedee lamb fault apparently. We gotta scheme any big passing play . the guy just can’t throw people open like Kirk cousins did for Jefferson todaySo did I. That's a low percentage field goal in those temperatures. Maher couldn't even get the ball to the end zone on kickoffs.
He trusted his 40 million dollar QB to make a play. He failed.
exactly. If you going for it on 4th you plan for it. And If they didn’t know until the 4th down that they were going to go for it, it makes them even more cluelessIf they already knew they were going for it on 4th down should have ran on it on 3rd lol. This team from top to bottem
But we also don't have anyone that can go up and get it like Jefferson. Gallop used to be able to.I like how every interception is now ceedee lamb fault apparently. We gotta scheme any big passing play . the guy just can’t throw people open like Kirk cousins did for Jefferson today

His mistake. Knew it was over as soon as he did. Should have ran the ball.Big Mike put the game in his QB's hands, and I have no issue with the aggressive style.
I think all our pass catchers can catch passes Just fine. Sometimes you gotta use your natural qb instincts and make it happen. But we also don't have anyone that can go up and get it like Jefferson. Gallop used to be able to.
But that contract is looking like another colossal mistake.
Perhaps considering the RBs were balling. His mistake. Knew it was over as soon as he did. Should have ran the ball.
I can’t figure out what he does here.I can see him getting fired anyways. He can’t lead a team the right way and either can the quarterback.
