I liked the call. I suspect analytics does too

We all know he wanted 7 to end the game. Three gave GB a possession and a chance. The offense had to execute on the play. They didn’t.

Rodgers with 4 downs will @ least get the FG to tie, and the Refs in GB will handle the last 4 points needed for the GW TD.

It was not a gimme FG...would have been about 54 yards in the cold. You saw how kickoffs for both teams were short all game. If it was a little closer then you kick the FG but at that point, you should feel more confident in your "Top-10 QB" being able to pick up 4 yards in two plays.

But I'm not defending McCarthy overall - he is still not smart and contributes to the dumb culture

So did I. That's a low percentage field goal in those temperatures. Maher couldn't even get the ball to the end zone on kickoffs.

He trusted his 40 million dollar QB to make a play. He failed.

Dude....MM had no choice but to go for it....(Maher wasn't making the kicks in pregame from that distance) and there was to much time left on the clock and the Defense is a hot mess that Rogers was tearing up at will.....NO FREAKING way do you give the ball back to Rodgers....Im ok with going for it..... Just think KM made a horrible play call

I think all our pass catchers can catch passes Just fine. Sometimes you gotta use your natural qb instincts and make it happen.

Players has to make plays in crunch time, that's the difference between contender/pretender.
