McCarthy's offense looks like the NFL has passed him by

Coach McCarthy is hamstrung by Jerry if we're being honest.

Zeke was cut for a reason. They brought him back for nostalgic fans that still love him. Why? Because the Jones boys were being cheap in free agency. Then they can say, see! We brought back Zek. Did he look like 2018 Zeke yesterday? Nope.

Them bringing back Zeke, finally signing CeeDee, and literally signing Dak an hour before the season opener tells me the Cowboys won't really do much as long as Jerry owns this team.

Jerry traded a 4th for Trey Lance cost them the ability to draft a RB who is clearly better than Zeke. There were some holes there yesterday. Just needed a good RB to hit them.

yesterday it seemed our QB could not hit anyone, our receivers were never open, our RB's could not get a hole, our defense could not get off blocks, could not get to the edge and could not defend the pass.

That is because of lack of talent or drive or something. It has to be. Good teams do not play this way. look at the 49ers Vikings game yesterday. 2 good teams slugging it out. they could at least AT TIMES make plays on either side. we could not. If that is because of Dak's huge contract, Jerry' unwillingness to use free agency, or the coaches inability to cue up the will to play, it needs to be figured out and fixed.

It's still just the 2nd game.

Rams are 0-2 and the Steelers are 2-0.......does anybody believe either of those teams are really as good or bad as their records?

I give it 2 more games .......we stopped the run in game 1 and got run out the house in game 2.

Evidence continues its course
This. We're 1-1, with one good game and one seriously bad game. In the end it doesn't matter how they end up in the play offs, as long as they're doing it.

Then it's a whole nother ball game of course.

It is hilarious to me how you can make this list above and not comprehend this is all a GM problem.

McCarthy's offense has passed him by because he does not have a RB. Does not have a WR2. His starting TE did not play.

What is more hilarious is GM Jethro thinks this is a SB team.
Glad you got a good laugh.
It's hilarious to me that you wanted to bring up a different subject and act like I should have brought it up for you.
Let's me know your full of it and a taking head parrot.
Good day.

Deep balls just don’t happen as frequent as you guys think. As a matter of fact I can’t recall the last time a team just ran past our safeties for a deep pass. It’s not smart football when everything underneath is there. The further the throw the riskier the pass.
Must have missed the Saints game.

You must agree with GM Jethro. We have a SB team and we lost because of McCarthy's offense has passed us by.

It's not McCarthy. Please.

It's the quarterback. How many playcallers and years does he need? You do know that NFL quarterbacks constantly change plays at the line of scrimmage.

Linehan, Garrett, Moore, McCarthy.....the only common element is Dak.

He's just a very limited quarterback who peaked years ago.
I don't disagree.
I just don't think one excludes the other.
Of course, I know QB's can change plays at the line of scrimmage. What kind of question is that?
Linehan, Garrett, and Moore were still trash when they left. McCarthy probably will be, as well.
Again, I don't see how deficiencies in the coach or the quarterback are mutually exclusive. We need to upgrade both.

It gets tiring having to repeatedly explain the obvious to posters like yourself who insist on being stubborn and place blame only on the QB just because he is Dak Prescott.
Well then please for the love of all things holy do yourself a favor and stop doing it.

You should also stop making up things in your head...that will help too.

so you are confessing????? the REAL ones i'm told from my friends aren't from Pats and Geno's but other locations ( I live in PA)
Not to being an Eagles fan lol. I’ve never been to PA and I’m sure the cheesesteaks we have here in DFW don’t compare to anything there. I always get them at Cowboys games(Cowboys cheesesteaks). I’m sure people from PA that have had them think they are trash lol
