I wanted to see a defensive player step up in hostile conditions late in year and tonight we saw that player. McClain has the stones to be a leader on this defense. I am excited about LB core for next year. Imagine the toughness with Lee, McClain and Hitchens on field at same time. If we could just add a edge pass rusher this team would be really difficult to stop.

If we can't stop the forward pass we're doomed.

I would let both Carter and Spencer walk, I think those resources should go to Ro McClain. He is a difference maker, and we need him. We also will need to draft another LB'er. Lee, McClain, Hitchens/Durrant. We will still need another Lb'er or 2 for depth.

its funny you said that because I thought same thing when I first saw him hitting. I hate to over-pay on him but I think he is must sign.

Rolondo is a guy you build around. There's clearly a difference between when he's on the field and when he's not. In the NFL with the salary cap, you can only sign a few pieces to build around. He's one of them.

On that last pass attempt to their TE Donnell (#84) his "jam" rocked him so hard it was an incomplete pass. He needs to teach that technique to Brandon Carr.

Not buying what 105.3 is saying unless there is video and audio of him saying those words. From all that I read, he loves it here. I fully expect JJ to do whatever it takes to re-sign him.

Unless the staff has some doubts on his mental state with another lump sum of cash, he's worth re-signing to a good sized deal.

Lee moves to WLB and his contract forces us to keep him around for another year. Could be a deadly duo.
