They just announced on Sportscenter that they've agreed to a new deal. What he gets is probably the closest comparable to what Murray will ask for.

It will be interesting to see the details when they leak.

Per Schefter (thanks @mickswag) he's getting 40 over 5 years (26.5M guaranteed and 16M first year).

And the market has been set.

Well a first year $16M salary skews the true value, after that the Bills only owe $10.5M to McCoy.

The deal is avging $8M/yr, but realistically with the guaranteed money it's a 2 yr deal where the Bills will eat $5.25M in dead money if they cut him after 2016.

I mean the 8M AAV and the guaranteed money.

We offered Murray 4/16. Shady is getting that entire total this year. LOL

Going the Randle(?)/draft route should be a no brainier considering these blown up deals. Both BUF and MIN don't have franchise QBs either, so their only real option is the running game to remain competitive. DAL is balanced almost guaranteed in that that is direction that will remain, just not @ the 1,800, 400 attempt, excessive rate that was displayed mainly to protect the D and to protect Romo's health.

This OL has some agility with Smith, Free, Martin, and Fred, so the absent short screen game can definitely be used to offset some of the running game. I see just about any rusher deemed starting worthy eclipsing 1,200-1,300 with the OL, so Murray was not the team's only option to remain balanced.

If that's the case, he should definitely stay in Minnesota.

He doesn't want to be in Minnesota anymore , money has nothing to do with it at this point. He actually is willing to restructure a new deal with a team if he gets traded just to get out of Minnesota.

The price for Murray just went up.the longer the cowboys drag their feet. the higher the price is going to get for guys like Murray and Dez.
