Who was second in rookie of the year voting, third in tackles (as a rookie, for God's sakes), etc. No, this guy is a sensational young talent and McCoy and his $11 million contract are ready to hit a wall. An incredibly bad deal for Buffalo...who still doesn't have a QB to actually take the heat off of McCoy. And McCoy doesn't like tough sledding. He is not a tackle breaker at all and he's going to have to do a lot of that without a real threat of a passing game.

Had a good rookie year but missed his whole 2nd year. You betting on potential

It's tough and unwise to evaluate these things in a vacuum. McCoy is the better player, but the Eagles just dropped a net amount of almost $9 million this year and $20 million over the next 3 years.

I think Kelly wanted to shed some salary and get rid of a talented but overpaid RB and get something in return.

So to truly evaluate the trade, we need to see what they do with all that new cap space.
