it's not really negativity as much as it is reality. McFadden has been injury-prone his whole career and already has an injury. Relying on him to get through a full season wouldn't be the best option.
This should be a nice sobering moment for people who were actually excited about signing him.

We aren't relying on him alone. It's why we have other backs in camp. And more accurately we're relying on our offensive line.
This national rb crisis is going to look silly as hell, in retrospect, in a few months.

I can still see a trade late in the preseason. Denver, Tampa Bay and Seattle are just a few teams that may have some decent options available if Dallas finds DMC is gonna be DMC.
"it's nothing serious" should be "It's nothing new".
We'll see you in week 10, McFadden. Get well.
I agree. Maybe he'll be fresh for our SB run.
Really? I think the opposite. I think those believing our backs were fine are going to look silly.
Some told you not to get your hopes up about Ryan Williams, where is he now? People kept pointing to McFadden's injury history, what's happening now?
Next up: Randle proves to be nothing more than a nice backup.
The fact that people think picking up a scrap heap option like cj will solve our rb problems shows you just how fungible the position is.
Care to compare the productivity and availability of the guy you're trying to defend and "scrap heap" Chris Johnson?
If the only consideration is what you've done to this point... Well hell... Let's sign Emmitt to a contract.
A waste of a roster spot!
Are you arguing that it should be ignored?!?!?!
Is this the level of desperation people have stooped to in an attempt to defend Darren McFadden?
If so, it's a new low.
I think you're better than that.
Somehow I doubt it. Instead we'll get the 'shoot the messenger' reaction instead of pointing their frustration where it belongs, on a player who can't stay healthy and is unreliable.
What am I ignoring? We were talking cj. I don't think he has much left but wouldn't be against a look see. Actually the team took a look see and passed some time ago.
Also from what I've read is Darren would be on the field if this was the regular season. It isn't. It is the first day of camp.
Teams are over cautious with veterans during this time period. It's like everyone gnashing their teeth are new to football in late July.
