Mcfadden still isn't out of the question.

I know it's early, but whatever. I'm bored.

Miami - They have Ronnie Brown. They have holes everywhere, can't afford to take him IMO.

Rams - Nope. They have SJack and Brian Leonard.

Jets - They have Thomas Jones and Leon Washington.

49ers - Gore and ??

Falcons - I could see him going here, but they are also in need of a franchise QB. Dunn and Norwood are decent.

Honestly, which of the sucky teams need a franchise back? It seems like most of them are set in the backfield and have bigger needs elsewhere.

no thanks we already have a back....marion the barbarian...

we need secondary help....mcfadden is overrated. ray rice>mcfadden

Knowing Miami they will probably draft a long snapping specialist in the first...

The rest need QBs...

I heard they were looking at this High Jumper over at this division 4 college in Alaska, I remember seeing that he blocked 3 FGz in a game...

Cleveland's pick is going to be in the second half of the round. Just pray they don't make the playoffs.

I think the Pats have the 49ers first round pick via trade. If that is the case, the Pats have a better chance of drafting McFadden than the Cowboys.

Thomas Jones and Leon "who?" Washington will not prevent the Jets from taking Run DMC.

The fact that they are desperate for a QB may however.

Falcons will go QB. They have to.
Miami probably will go OL because they just took Beck and they probably want to see what he has before they spend a 1st rounder.
Rams will probably go defense line (Calais Campbell?).
The Bears probably should go RB, but they can't afford to spend their pick there. They will probably go QB or WR if no QB is there.

These teams that will probably draft early will not take a RB early:
Rams - (Jackson)
49ers - (Gore)
Miami - (Brown)
Bills - (Lynch)
Saints - (Bush/Deuce)
Vikings - (AD)
Chiefs - (LJ)
Bengals - (Rudi)

The teams that might be looking at RB early are:
Jets
Raiders

I will say this: it's a certainty that the Texans take a RB. After passing on Bush and AD, their fans would right if they pass on DMAC.

So the question is whether the Jets, Raiders or Texans draft ahead of Cleveland. I don't think the Texans will, and I think the Jets might get it together if Pennington is healthy.

So it's a possibility we would have a shot at DMAC. Whether we want to do pull the trigger on him is another question. Right now, I am interested.

Pats just got Maroney in the 1st, and it would not be their style to take DMAC there.

Depends on how McFadden grades out or where Dallas puts him on their board and whether there are DBs or any other position that are higher. RB is not a need pick right now. It just depends on who grades higher and where we pick with Cleveland's number one. So many variables right now hard to say. I'm interested but they never answer my calls anymore.

Good post. I agree, the Texans won't pass up on a RB. I honestly don't think the Raiders would take him. They have a boatload of RBs.

They have:
Lamont Jordan
Justin Fargas
Dominic Rhodes
and last years 4th round pick Michael Bush

I can see them going WR or Offensive line, but who knows.

Is someone going to make a trade offer one of these teams can't turn down?

I just want a nice back to couple with Barber ..... I am tired of JJ getting 2 yards 10 times and then bust out a 15 yard run ..... then go back to 2 yards a carry.

Ray Rice could be that guy .....

YES! Our weekly McFadden thread.

The guy isn't the next coming, there are plenty of great RBs to consider.

Can't we start putting these threads in the Sports Zone or The Draft Zone?

Seriously, please free us from this SPAM!!!!

I hear ya, but seriously didn't you see McFadden's name in the thread title? See if I don't like a thread, I just don't read it .

I did read the title.

Just giving my 2 cents tho...

the Raiders would be way better served to take a WR than Run DMC. they dont got real talented WR's and they need to start getting some for Russell. a WR with great speed that could catch those bombs from russell's arm. the Jets i think would take him though...

LOL...good one.

I don't know about you, but I watch the Arkansas games to see a future Cowboy. I really wanted to JJ to draft Peterson but that didn't come to fruition. I just really like "DMAC's" style of running and his throws aren't bad at all.

Well I am a Mario Manningham homer.

The Cowboys are actually gonna need a young stud WR in the near future.

I might start a thread every other day about him.

Wonder how long it will take for it to be moved to another Zone ;)

I am sure he will be around for the Boys to snatch off the board with the second 1st round pick.
