Mcfadden still isn't out of the question.

I am sure he will be around for the Boys to snatch off the board with the second 1st round pick.

Honestly, how much crap would I take for starting Mario Manningham threads?

The Browns, unfortunaley, are the next up and coming team. They have a solid oline, Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow. They need to take a bad loss sometime soon to ruin their confidence. Thats the only shot we have of getting in the top 10. The Rams jump out at me when they play either this week or next. In a few seasons the AFC might be a 3 team race of Indy, NE, and the Browns. I didnt even name the guy who leads the league in sacks in the last 16 games of the last 2 seasons[over 2 seasons] Kimberly Wimbley. Leigh Bodden is our version of Terrance Newman.

I heard they were looking at this High Jumper over at this division 4 college in Alaska, I remember seeing that he blocked 3 FGz in a game...

That would be Mitch Mukluk, an Athabascan Indian from tiny Alaska-Kenai Community College... word has it he trains by jumping over newly-erected totem poles at local potlatches...

The real sleeper on that team, though, is sophomore wide receiver/kick returner Denny Dogsled, an Aleut from Kodiak Island... he is reportedly BLAZING fast, a skill he acquired dodging the legendary Kodiak bears on his home island... nothing will make you run faster than a friggin' ten foot bear, encountered when the salmon aren't running... especially if you've got a full basket of just-picked berries... word has it that scouts have clocked him in 3.1 seconds in the 40, with just an 8 footer in hot pursuit... coaches dress their DBs up in bearskin coats in practice...

I hear ya, but seriously didn't you see McFadden's name in the thread title? See if I don't like a thread, I just don't read it .

I did read the title.

Just giving my 2 cents tho...

So you basically complained about a "Spam" Thread (which isn't even spam since it's cowboys related) by, ummm... spamming?

Well... I don't believe he's right. But I wouldn't call it "Ridiculous". Ray Rice has skills. He won't be a top 10 pick (maybe not even a first rounder) but he would not be a bad draft pick with our #32 pick in the draft. :D

You can have Rice and I'll take McFadden all day everyday.

Someone in this thread help me.

I don't see many Arkansas games, .. what does DM have other than speed?

I have watched him some and see a great athlete with great speed, but I don't see a 20+ carries a game NFL RB.

I saw "IT" last season when AP was at OK, but I don't feel that way when I watch DM.

The Jets duo won't stop them from taking a RB, it's possible they take either Glenn Dorsey or Chris Long, or if a DE/OLB emerges as a top pick they may take him, but more than likely, I think McFadden goes to the jets

We talk a lot about McFadden, but that's because of his freakish athleticism. But look at the numbers...

Ray Rice (Rut) 204 carries 999 yards 142.7 yds/g 4.9 ypc 13 TDs
Jonathan Stewart (Ore) 131 carries 940 yards 134.3 yds/g 7.2 ypc 7 TDs
Darren McFadden (Ark) 169 carries 932 yards 133.1 yds/g 5.5 ypc 7 TDs

I really like Jonathan Stewart and he is probably someone that can be had with our second #1.

CB or WR with #1 and then JS with our second #1 would look real nice to me.

I think the Pats have the 49ers first round pick via trade. If that is the case, the Pats have a better chance of drafting McFadden than the Cowboys.

Unless that's the pick the lose from the cheat-gate.

I like Rice, but I like Mike Hart too.

And I think Slaton would compliment Barber well.

Cleveland's pick is going to be in the second half of the round. Just pray they don't make the playoffs.

Draft order is based entirely on W-L record. Whether or not they make the play-offs has almost no effect, unless they represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.

If they finish 9-7 and make the play-offs and another 9-7 team doesn't, the Browns would pick after the team that didn't make the playoffs. If the Browns finish 9-7, miss the play-offs, and an 8-8 team makes it from the NFC, the play-off team would pick before the Browns, unless it represents the NFC in the Super Bowl.

Rams - Nope. They have SJack and Brian Leonard.

Jets - They have Thomas Jones and Leon Washington.

Falcons - Dunn and Norwood are decent.
We have Barber and Jones. Yet you think we should take McFadden (you would have MB sit?) while our secondary goes begging and we have only the aged Brad Johnson to back up Romo. Yes, I know, a rookie backup QB is of no consequence the first two years, but at some point we need to invest in a serviceable backup. And the secondary needs a blue-chip CB and a blue-chip safety.

All in all, we, too, have many needs. RB is not one of them that comes to mind.
