McGahee for a 3rd round pick.

Give up the third for McGahee and then shop Jones to the Titans.

If they'd give up a third, you've moved up and gotten better at RB.

Why on earth would the Titans not just pick up McGahee, the better back?

I also read where he's not happy in Buffalo. Can't say I blame him; it really gets cold up there, lots of snow & not a lot to do particularly, if I'm not mistaken, for a kid from Florida (I think that is where he went to school?).

He's not happy in Buffalo, but I don't think it's neccessarily the cold. He recently told a magazine reporter that the Bills should move to Toronto, which naturally started a major uproar in the Buffalo area as you could well imagine.
Other than that, the guy really is nowhere near the explosive back he was at Miami before the injury. I know because living in Toronto, I see many Bills games and the guy just looks like he is lacking that next gear. He is not the best blocker for a guy his size either.

If Magahee was as good as anyone thinks he is Mike Shanahan would have done the trade by now, instead he signed T. Henry.
Shanahan would not trade picks for a RB. He feels he can make them and he got Henry for a reasonable price. Using this to as an example of McGahee not being all that good is poor logic.

I go to and watch lots of Bills games and he is well worth a 3rd, but I would do a 4th and Jones in a second.

He's not happy in Buffalo. Not exactly a fan favorite after saying in public that the team should be moved to canada. He's made other statements about not liking the city itself, and the weather.

Things to that effect.

I think it would be a big improvement over Julius.

I don't blame him for not liking the city of Buffalo. It's a decaying rust belt city with nothing to offer.

I went to the esteemed University of Buffalo back in 87-92. It was bad even back then. It's worse now.

Consider a kid from Miami, moving to a city where it snows from October to April ... and no sunshine to boot.

No beaches. Plenty of rednecks. A city which closes down at 5pm.
