McNabb, McNabb, McNabb. McNabb is so low, he could tell us what Romo's jock strap smells like. Tony is leaps and bounds a better, more proficient, accurate QB and to me, it's not even close. The only thing they're close in is TD to INT ratio. The fact that he isn't better in that category with the dump it off system ran in Phili just proves my point. He needs to find a different way to relieve his butthurt.

[quotI want="DandyDon1722, post: 5745193, member: 15883"]Oh, and he was just getting started...

http://voices.suntimes.com/sports/i...-a-winner-calls-him-tony-romo-of-the-midwest/

During a stream-of-consciousness rant of sorts, McNabb compared Cutler to Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and said there are no excuses for having one playoff win after nine NFL seasons.

“He’s the Tony Romo of the Midwest,” McNabb said. “We can talk about arm talent, we can talk about being able to throw a ball through a wall. He can put up 280, 340 yards passing, but you look across the board he’s got two interceptions in a game that cost them 14 points or so. That hurts a football team.

“Can he play in this league? Absolutely, he’s proven that. But a quarterback is measured by your body of work, meaning your wins and losses record, the numbers you put up. And the end-all be-all is how many playoff wins do you have? How many playoff appearances do you have? If you only have one to show for almost a decade of play that means you can’t lead your team to the playoffs.

“Then the question is why? Because you’re so talented, the potential is there, but why haven’t you been able to do it? You can only say for so long that it’s been the talent. They have some talent around Cutler, that’s never been the issue. Now can you put it all together? To be honest, the answer is no.”

McNabb had compared Cutler to Romo earlier in the interview, as well, calling them both an “accident waiting to happen.”

“If you continue to let them drop back and throw the football, they’re gonna turn the football over,” McNabb said.
[/quote]

Gawd I want this team to win a SB this year just to shut up all the Romo haters especially those who never won one but act like they did...cough cough Mr. I can't handle the pressure McPuke.

Amani Toomer on his show has some kind of segment similar to "Come on Man!". It's called something like "Weeks dumbest". Right after his co host called his on Joseph Randle (deserved it), Amani went and called out McNabb for having the Cowboys at #13. Pretty funny.

Amani always talks good about the Boys

Only by idiotic morons, Donovan, which you fit that description perfectly, and so here we are .... I mean it's not like Football is known as the "ultimate team sport", those 52 other players are just for show right? There's no way they can impact a game negatively or positively.

“If you continue to let them drop back and throw the football, they’re gonna turn the football over,” McNabb said.

Romo may turn the ball over, which every QB does, but not only will he throw an interception but he'll throw 3 TDs to match. Romo's TD/Int ratio is 2.06, McNabb' TD/Int ratio was 2.00. So if he's knocking Romo for this, then he's really just knocking himself, what a moron. Go away McNabb and crawl back under the rock in which you came from, you're not half the QB Romo is. And you're an even more terrible analyst which is a complete joke that you're paid to give your 'professional' opinion. 13th Ranked team in the NFL my butt.

:igglestrophy: <--------------------------------------- Way to make the playoffs, too bad they didn't amount to anything meaningful.

McNabb is one biscuit away from joining Jared Lorenzen's weightosphere.

When did McNabb become such a salty old curmudgeon? Kick rocks, Sir Donovan. Nobody wants to hear the verbal diarrhea that spews from that hole in your face.

You know the guy is just a joke. He's choked in more big games than any QB that I can remember. The Eagles were so dominate in the early 2000's ( mainly because the whole division was bad) and all he could get was one SB appearance and spent it throwing up on the sidelines. He criticizes Romo. I've been critical of Tony but c'mon. This fool should be the last person to criticize him. He's the only QB to lose to him in a playoff game. I honestly don't know how this guy has a job on tv especially after his great team rankings this week. lol The whole world's laughing at him.

He was a good football player once but who cares what he says now.

Career G167 GS161 QBrec 98-62-1 comp 3170 att 5374 Cmp% 59.0% yds 37276 TDs 234 TD% 4.4 INT 117 INT% 2.2 Lng INT 91 Y/A 6.9 AY/A 6.8 Y/C 11.8 YPG 223.2 rate 85.6 4QC 17 GWD 25

Romo's G142 GS114 Cmp% 64.8% TD% 5.5 INT% 2.7% Y/A 7.8 Y/C 12.1 rate 96 4QC 20 GWC 23

47 more games started by McNabb in 13 years vs 9 years as a starter for Tony.

4th QC already higher and GWDs almost the same. Y/A and rating as well as TD% are telling as well.

And before people start with the playoff wins my retort is playoffs are more of a measure of team success although I'm not dismissing it either. Also McNabb had a pretty stable organization/coaches around him.

Both are/were good or better players. Tony needs Dallas to make some noise in the playoffs and Tony needs to NOT bring down the lightning on himself.

I have always despised MCFLABB the most. Proof is in the pudding. I remember the year he went down and missed several games - their backup - What was his name? We used to make fun of him b/c he was shorter and looked like a Christmas elf - took over and they didn't miss a beat. Reid and Joe Johnson were the reasons those teams were so good. In My opinion, McFlabb was just a step above a bus driver who would have sucked on a team with lesser talent and coaching. My opinion.

I always thought he was overrated. Saying he's the best QB in Eagles history is really a slap at the Eagles. lol
