This is the team that scares me the most in our division.....

They had a excellent draft it seems.....time will only tell and they won without TO before and they picked up some defensive help in rushing the passer which what I thought was their biggest weakness last year.

We'll see what happens this year. McNabb's injury last year cost him his mobility, which was one of his biggest weapons. He'll have that back this year. I expect him to improve and the offense will do better than it did last year, although it probably will not be as productive as it was with TO. Also, Andy Reid did not forget how to coach.

The Eagles did benefit from a weak NFC East and their talent level is not as superior as it was. Their defense was not dominant last year and I'm not sure they will regain their previous form this year. I think they will be competitive, but a lack of depth on defense will mean they miss the playoffs.

i misworded my post, i knew they didnt overlook his talent. i should have said they were "surprised" when he came into camp quicker than expected.

im not saying that i trust the fans observations im just saying that it is kind of weird that almost nobody knew who he was prior to the trade . . . i trust our staff just fine.

Its not trade but coming to point, way before Cowboys signed, it was reported that Kosier would be hotly pursued FA OL, who scouts and coaches knew about but fans didn't or rather most people would be surprised by his name. Scott Schafer reported that.

So based on that, I wasn't as surprised like many here. He was not a fan known product, thats all.

The NFCE is going to be a TOUGH division this year, but I also think that the Eagles are in a period of rebuilding. Isn't everyone talking about how the Patriots aren't the same team that won 3 Superbowls? Well the birdies LOST 3 Conferance Championships and 1 Superbowl. 4 years is a long time, and players don't last forever. Trotter, Kearse and the rest of the D-line and LB's are not the same as they were, and the only defensive player that I respect is Dawkins. The division is a lot tougher, and McNabb isn't a very good clutch QB. I am more afraid of the Commanders than any other team, but the way everyone here is preaching Superbowl is making me more nervous. Don't get your hopes up too high, because WAS, NYG, and even PHI have all made MANY improvements all over.

GO BOYZ!!
