Edit: McNabb and the Eagles opened the season against the Texans, Giants, Packers and 49ers and he had 9 touchdowns, 1 interception and a 59% completion rating. In the last three games, only 2 touchdowns, 1 interception and a 49% completion rating. MVP? Hardly.

It never fails. Some wise guy has to introduce facts into the argument. Can't we all just get along?

the guys is out for the better part of next season so maybe we can not debate about him again and again. if you take the big plays (ie. schoolyard football) out of his stats, they're deplorable... especially for WCO. those big plays also eliminate ball control and wear down his defense. but even if you think he's an elite passer, that will have to be reestablished upon his return, whatever week into next season that is.

Well, the eagles have Garcia, at least he has some experience...?

However, the way they play football, Garcia might get jacked up too?

The eagles rely on the QB to much...and that is the West Coast offense...and that does not work very good in todays game...

He can't attack the field like McNabb could nor does he have close to the same level of stamina and leadership. They need to become more of a ball-control team to preserve him and I fear that alone will make them a better team in the long run.
