So you're saying the Eagles' trainer was lying on purpose just to placate the fans?

And Amani Toomer had surgery six days after tearing his ACL, so it's not "impossible" to have the surgery in the same week.

Palmer had his surgery (a much worse injury based on reports) in early Jan and started week 1.

Palmer started a preseason game seven months and 18 days after his surgery, so that was better than the "best-case" scenario. That's possible for McNabb, but the Eagles would be foolish to expect that for him, too.
