JOK is much more of a projection and I don’t want to take that risk that high
Pitts is not a projection
I want the meat and potatoes before I get the fixins.

If Sewell or Pitts are there I wouldn’t trade down, I’d take them. Anyone else (including Surtain) and I’m looking to trade down to try for Collins, Barmore or Moehrig

I dont think uts a projection in a cover 3. sS is basically a rover and plays tight ends. I think he'd be a great player in a covet 3. Quinn had Chancellor and Neal guarding Gronk. Who would we currently put on tight ends? Just sayin.

I don't know why everyone is so obsessed with corner -- I mean, for god's sake, we had Deion in his prime. Having a corner who could literally shut down half the field didn't stop our defense from being mediocre. I mean, if a CB happens to be clearly the best talent available there, then of course take him. But until the front 7 (and especially the DL) is upgraded, the impact of a corner is going to be muted.

I personally would take Sewell over Horn but Barmore in the 2nd Round I'm 100% on board with but if turns
out they go Jaycee Horn in 1st Round and Barmore in the 2nd Round I'm feeling great there too.

I wouldn't, but I see why you would.

I really have only two concerns about this draft, as a Cowboys fan:

1. That Jerry will trade up by giving up their 3rd round pick or multiple lower picks.
2. That after quarterbacks there is a run on cornerbacks and Surtain and Horn both go in the first 9.

Other than that while he is certainly capable of doing it, I can't see Dallas really screwing up this draft, just too many good players available and too many positions of need on the Cowboys. Just going by any of the "experts" rankings they could better this team....

If Surtain and Horn go early than we are getting Sewell or a couple of excellent Wide Receivers are there and they can trade down. Plenty of options.

Sewell IMO is one of the top 5 prospects in the class. He is a franchise LT for the next 10-12 years. I can find a way if needed to get a CB in round 2. I ain’t passing on him if he’s there.

I would do backflips if they got Barmore in the second. Freaking back flips.

I hear ya. I really do. But I think it’s a league of have’s and have not’s. And you either have a quarterback or you don’t.

I blame the Joneses for taking too long on negotiations than I do Dak seeking market value. But now we’re forced to be better at finding cheap talent everywhere else.

you can either protect the qb or you can't.

seems we're intent on rewarding players and not building a team. those are certainly not the same thing.

I truly believe Dallas drafts by their board atleast in their 1st RD and sewell or Slater will be way over Horn.

I don't think they're way over J.Horn at all...different positions.

Pretty easy. Didn’t flash until late. Misses a lot of tackles, flashes to show his gap assignment. Struggles against bigger interior lineman.

He’s a beast with so much untapped potential. But late 1st / early 2nd is right where he belongs.
