I wonder if the injury to Jake Butt moved him down in the Tight End category ?

Yeah, I was surprised to see Tabor didn't take a dive. These are his post-Combine rankings.

The big part is how Marcus Maye suddenly vaulted over him.
Yeah I dont buy any of this bs on peppers. I think alot of teams are coming up w excuses to downgrade him in hopes he drops to them. I call bs and would be shocked if he falls close to us. Top 20 all day long!

I think people are downplaying his intangibles because you can't pick that up from paper.

I think teams are impressed by his attitude. Plays everywhere, does anything he is asked, enjoys football, has fun.

Coaches love that kind of player.

I don't think McShay is smoke screening anyone. He has no reason to. He just doesn't think Peppers is a 1st round prospect or maybe not even 2nd round. He was pretty critical of him in the podcast he does with Mel this week. He says the more he studies him the less he likes him. His opinion.

Kiper's response was asking where would Peppers be if he was just allowed to stay at one position? That his versatility has hurt his draft stock.

I think it's more a case of Maye being undervalued up until now. A lot of time when CBS has a guy rated low we kind of just assume that's where he belongs. Maye is a really good football player. As talented and athletic as guys like Budda and Peppers are, Maye is 1 of the few safeties in this draft class that has the size, athleticism, and proven tape of him playing an NFL safety role at a major program (1 that is known for producing good S's).
