I agree. It makes me wonder if JJ should move on from him at this point. He is obviously butt hurt about it all... to some extent - its understandable, but come on. Calling folks directly asking for a job or trying to convince them. Outside of Cromartie-types, haven't heard that done in awhile.

I agree............."if" this is actually true, then I tell Murray to get gone. Its one thing to be pissed that your team is not offering what you think you are worth, but personally calling up the head coach of a division rival and begging for contract is crossing the line.

It's a flawed strategy, because I don't think he was around when they let Canty go to the Giants after a lengthy negotiation. Cowboys will let guys walk now.

Although according to ESPN, Murray is in Dallas now, and the owner wants to keep him. I suspect he'll wind up re-signing with the Cowboys.
