Mega "Where's Murray going?" Thread *Merge*

He has had 2 good seasons in a row. 2013/2014. And his rookie year also was a good season. 897 yds, with a 5.5 average. Only down season was 2012.

The hostility towards one of our own is really confounding. It's making people fabricate wholly different realities for the player. Murray is not the anti-christ people, far from it.

After all of this, I wouldn't be surprised if Murray comes out and says, "I am taking a year off from football so I can help feed all the hungry kids in Africa."

Because, you know, Africa is where all the hungry kids are.

LOL, the amount of posters here that defended murray till the death, about his age, and how hes better then AP was amazing to me. Wonder how they feel now that Murray personally called Philly. HAHA

What I find amazing is that a Cowboys fan can have so much hatred towards a back that just ran for 1800 yards for us. I don't find it amazing at all that fans feel a sense of loyalty to a player that has made it known that he wants to stay on this team.

Regardless of what Murray does I just can't understand how some fans are so passionate about not paying Murray when if you look at how much we paid guys like Spencer or Sean Lee to sit and rehab. Any RB we have will make more of a contribution than many other players on our team and on other teams.

That's what gets to me. We paid scrubs and our walking wounded but not one of our warriors.

We didn't know they were gonna miss all that time...so I'm not sure I get your point. Just keep paying because we paid _____ and _____? Doesn't necessarily sound like the intelligent thing to do.

According to Profootballtalk, "at least one of the teams" pursuing free agent DeMarco Murray believes Murray will end up back in Dallas.

Despite all of the fits Murray has thrown regarding Dallas' contract offer -- reported at $5 million per year -- our expectation has been and will continue to be that he'll return to the Cowboys. He's not going to produce more elsewhere, and we're similarly skeptical Murray would get significantly more money from another team. NFL clubs simply don't break the bank on 27-year-old running backs coming off 500-touch seasons. The Cowboys have not dived into the free agent running back market, which is probably the strongest sign that they too believe there's a good chance Murray stays put.

Sean Lee is always hurt. I know he's our best defensive player but how long are we going to keep this up? He's never able to play a full season.

Really? Sean Lee and Spencer? spencer had an injury for 2 straight seasons and Lee has never played a full season. I don't think anyone who follows the Cowboys could be shocked to hear these guys were hurt.

I don't think that many fans hate him. I think that some fans question his age and the number of carries he had last year. Its a business and as cold as it is, you pay for future projection and not based off past production. Guy ran extremely hard. If I was him though, I would definitely want to stay with Dallas. There is a lot to like about our offense.

I dont hate him at all. Im saying that comparing him to Adrian Peterson is just hilarious to me. Fans feel loyalty yes, obviously he doesnt if he is calling our most hated rival to go and ply his trade there. That is what im saying

This is the year he becomes our Iron Man, right? Honestly, it's sad that he can't stay healthy, great leader and player, IMO.

Demarco has also only played one full season. In a contract year no less.

It is sad because Lee is a great guy and a great player when he's healthy. I just don't think he ever will be.

Are you Driving Ms. Crazy?

Well, since I am sitting in my wheelchair at the computer - NO. At the gym - I adjusted my phone so Twitter would flash the whole message on my screen while I worked out. Surrounded by Vikings fans that want him for AP, or people that have to put their two cents on where he is going, etc. I didn't like that someone mentioned he took Dallas Cowboys off his Twitter page. Hope he adds it back TONIGHT!!

I've been suffering in silence, hence I have yet to start driving anyone crazy.

I'm surprised I still have fingers -- been tapping them constantly. I gave up Shemar Moore on Criminal Minds to watch NFL Network! :star:

And Sam Bradford can stop talking to Murray. They don't need him!!
