As far as his use of the N word, when he was lambasting her for wearing tight clothes, he said it would be her own fault if she got raped by a bunch

In the court of public opinion, it probably doesn't matter if his girlfriend set him up, which she probably did. He all but admitted he beat his girlfriend and used all sorts of nasty racial slurs.

It's really ashamed as I really enjoy Mel Gibson's movies and actually thought "Edge of Darkness" was good. Oddly enough, the aforementioned movie title seems to do a very good job of describing Mel Gibson's state of mind at the moment.

I wonder when his spiral really accellerated...maybe right around the time of the Passion?
His ex wife of 28 years, Robin, claims he was "never abusive before, during, or after their marriage"...and had 7 kids with him. I read she filed a statement on his behalf yesterday with the court.

So somewhere in the time between Robyn and this women, he cracked.
