Ill grade it 3 years from now.
Exactly, we need to see if this draft was successful or not in 3 years ,if we get 2 starters out of this draft for 3-4 years, then it is a succesful draft.

We had three games vs. Philly and 49ers this past season. In all 3 games we held those high-octane rushing games to less than 3.6 yards per carry.
In the first Philly game, their last six rushes went for zero total yards, after the game was no longer in doubt. That's why the ypc was low. Just before that, they did stuff like this:

414:39110PHI 251720Miles Sanders right guard for 13 yards (tackle by Jourdan Lewis and Malik Hooker)0.6101.470
414:05110PHI 381720Miles Sanders left guard for 5 yards (tackle by Chauncey Golston)1.4701.600
413:1725PHI 431720Miles Sanders up the middle for 1 yard (tackle by Trysten Hill and Trevon Diggs)1.6001.020
412:3334PHI 441720Jalen Hurts scrambles up the middle for 5 yards (tackle by Donovan Wilson and Anthony Barr)1.0202.190
411:32110PHI 491720Boston Scott left end for 5 yards (tackle by DeMarcus Lawrence)2.1902.320
411:0425DAL 461720Jalen Hurts pass complete short right to Miles Sanders for 1 yard (tackle by Anthony Brown)2.3201.750
410:3134DAL 451720Kenneth Gainwell left guard for 5 yards (tackle by Dante Fowler)1.7502.920
49:45110DAL 401720Kenneth Gainwell left guard for 6 yards (tackle by Malik Hooker and Micah Parsons)2.9203.180
49:1924DAL 341720Jalen Hurts right end for 3 yards (tackle by Quinton Bohanna)3.1802.870
48:5731DAL 311720Jalen Hurts up the middle for 2 yards (tackle by Donovan Wilson)2.8703.640
48:17110DAL 291720

In the SF game, in the two scoring drives at the end of the 3rd and beginning of the 4th that basically decided things, SF ran 15 times for 70 yards and a TD. They kept running and Dallas couldn't stop them.

I love the geniuses who every year talk about grading it 3 years from now as if they're providing something enlightening to the discussion.

Yeah, no crap you can grade it better in 3 years. Anybody can. Which is probably why you want to wait.

If I can have opinions before the draft I damn sure can have it after it.

I thought Mel {Eddie Munster}Kiper retired years ago?
ESPN made this big todo about how he made the draft what it is and had some kid who was protege who wrote a letter about being Kiper one day. Meanwhile half the 7th round was getting selected and ESPN chose not to cover the picks. All those kids families out there waiting for their name to be called and they talking about how great Kiper is. And how humble he is. But they talked about how great he was far too long for anyone who is humble. I hope he retires for good. He's a weirdo

We have been consistent and methodical in drafting and in free agency and we have been somewhat consistent in being an above average team

some would consider this a success but being consistently above average hasn’t even gotten us to a Championship game in over a quarter century.

some say that being aggressive hasn’t worked for us but I don’t recall being anywhere as aggressive as some of the other teams that have made it to the SB

Last season was an unprecedented weak NFC to have become aggressive and take advantage of it……our big splash was 15 snaps a game Hankins and “off the couch” TY Hilton.

Im ready to be merely above average and that means taking risks…..just look at what the Jets are risking for massive gain
