I agree. Maybe if it was a late second-round pick, but top of the second seems too high. If we did take him there, I hope the scouts know something none of the rest of us do.

After 39 years I couldn't quit even if I wanted to. I've been thru Hogeboom, Pelleur, Sweeney, Quincy, Henson, Hutchinson, Wright, Stoerner and especially the last 20+ years of Jerry's mismanagement.

I doubt one more bad draft pick will make me give up, but taking Brissett in the 2nd would definitely test me.

Why not more talk of Kevin Hogan. Seems to be the consensus sleeper pick at QB. Some comparisons to Philip Rivers. Has a bit of a wonky delivery, but has all the measurables.

I'm predicting that Hackenberg is Hue Jackson's pet project in this draft. I think he sees the physical tools and believes that he's the coach to maximize his potential.

I like Brissett a lot. Big, strong, tough athletic, played in a mixed offense, more accurate than Cook, not a product of the system like Prescott.

That said, the best of the rest is Hogan.
