Garrett's response: Thank you. 4-1 with our #1 QB out, #1 WR missing time, Best CB missing time, LT missing time and or best pass rusher missing time. Shut up!
Dang, and a mic drop!!

No we all know it is Dak winning the games, linehan has done good, and even marinelli. The Garrett haters have to be hating this win streak hard
A lot of those post week 1 folks are strangely absent..and some of the regulars, I'm sure they're busy now like in 14.
Ok, I tried this memo to JG thing right after that agonizing loss to the Giants. So I thought I would try it again.
For those who don't remember, here is what i proposed after the Giants game.
1. Most of the NFL runs some variable of a rub route, its time we start trying.
2. Dez needs to be in motion more, and find ways of getting him the ball in space.
3. when a team stacks the box and is showing a double a gap blitz, lets stop trying to run right up the middle.
4. Any 3rd and long, lets delete the quick pass to Witten, that will NEVER work.
5. Incorporate the halfback pass or flea flicker to the playbook, those used to be staples in the past.
Here are a couple for the Defense
1. When we are playing immobile QB's, lets try some blitzes up the middle, sending OScan off the corner and not from the blindside is almost useless.
2. Wilbur is not a pass rusher off the edge, get somebody else in there to try.
Well 4 weeks later, I have seen the team try and do some of these things, although we haven't tried a flea flicker or hb pass (which i highly encourage) we did try that onside kick.
So I composed a new list of things to do.
1. Dak vs Romo thing, stay with Dak till you need to go to Romo.
2. You must try to take a deep shot especially early in the game, keep the safeties honest. (so important)
3. Keep Zeke's carries at 20 or less a game....no need to punish the kid with so much of the season left.
3. It's important to give Escobar a series or 2 during the game, Witten is great, Escobar needs to play.
4. Continue to work some RB screens especially when they see a Blitz coming.
Defense
1. Stop blitzing Brown or Scandrick from the left side...If you blitz them, do it from the blindside.
2. Play Davis more on passing downs, he constantly gets a push toward the QB.
3. Keep Crawford at LDE and Lawrence at RDE.
4. Keep Mo at LCB and Carr at RCB and Scan/Brown as the slot corners.
that is all for now
true and that kinda rubs me the wrong wayThe Garrett haters have to be hating this win streak hard

Not pun intended.
Garrett was getting hate because he has a .500 record as a head coach. If this team turns the corner and he starts firing off winning season after winning season, then he will get love. The NFL is about winning, and if you don't, you get disdain, and if you do, you get adoration. If we keep on winning, then Garrett will definitely deserve praise. Let's keep it up.

I'm thinking you might be serious. But no, that can't possibly be.No we all know it is Dak winning the games, linehan has done good, and even marinelli.
But lets see what happens when they pull Dak.
Linehan gets the credit when things are good, Garrett suddenly takes over when it's bad..we get itNo we all know it is Dak winning the games, linehan has done good, and even marinelli.

Dandy has made some really dumb comments on here, so I'm thinking he's seriousI'm thinking you might be serious. But no, that can't possibly be.
You don't think the league's top running game is helping just a little?
"Dak" (and Dak alone from your comment) is winning the games?
really?
And the defense shut out Cincy for a good bit of last game as well.

its funny, only the garrett haters are called out, after each 500 season or bad season garrett lovers werent called out, or let me phrase it, i didnt see much of it . Garrett has proven what Garrett is, giving him top talent because he failed and than having success because of it, is not a credit to Garrett, its a credit to having a bad team. Bad teams pick first. Is Dak his guy? Not if Romo is tossed back in, than wait for the first interception, or the calls "you are hurting Daks chance at ROY".
If we are winning and Garrett puts Romo back in, its going to get ugly in a hurry. This will be one of the teams that says "Winning, we aint got time for winning". I love Romo, but Romo has to learn from Warner at this point. This team has to do a Warner.
6 years in Garrett has yet to have back to back winning seasons. I'll adjust my opinion of him being anything but ordinary with he can string a couple of winning seasons together.
Zeke should get as many carries as possible ....... he is like Emmitt in that he does not take big hits.
I was really starting to notice that, too. It always seems like it's just a glancing blow.
Dude? I'm not one to call out either side just for the sake of calling them out, but as a Garrett supporter, I've been literally hammered on this board for _years_ by fans calling me a blind homer idiot. I still believe what I've always said that it's a game of assembling talent and managing the owner in Dallas. I think Jason Garrett's done a nice job after inheriting a bad team under some fairly unique circumstances, but I'm also not taking a victory lap at 4-1 after getting through the easier part of our schedule for this season. Let's see where we are at Thanksgiving and then take it from there.
