Jumbo asked me to relay this message to the mods and members of CZ. So I will just post what he said rather than try and paraphrase it.

Jumbo said:
When convenient, would you pop into the CZ and thank the admin, zrin, the other mods (ABQ, Hostile), and all those in general who are taking the high road and wishing Sean well? I don't have an account there and have my hands more than full.

Sean's not just a person who many think has come a long way in maturing and having a good heart, he really was a fantastic football player who was just now begining to come into his potential.

And though that is a very distant second to his very life, hopeful well-being in recovery, and his family, as a sports fan it's still true that losing such a talent even before fully developed is also very sad.

Thanks, sacase, for any assistance you can offer in sharing me personal, and ES' in general, appreciation to all our rival-brothers at CZ

Tell him I said he is more than welcome but no thanks are in order.

I recommend anyone that has an account over at ES to go over there and show a little support to those guys. They're struggling over this as, no doubt, we would be if one of our favorite players was murdered.

It's good to see a bunch of us Cowboys fans from all over the place showing up over there and supporting them in a tough time.

Good to see members of both communities reaching out and being civil in what is a very tough time for any Commander fan.

Some of those posters over there are truly very good... and when we talk of Extremeskins, we usually focus on the poorer posters. Just human nature, I suppose.

There are some terrific posters there though.

For the record, there is an entire thread at Extremeskins devoted to the gesture this board is showing to S. Taylor, his family and Skins fans everywhere.

There's some new perspectives on Cowboy fans over there, I can tell you that.

Many thanks.

That's just not true.

You really think that? I understand, I guess. I wouldn't have expected this from you guys.

But people will surprise you sometimes. People are people, and in a time like this a star on a helmet hardly is going to keep us from grieving together.

I just hope you guys never have to go through this so this conversation will be moot.

Why do some people just have to put a negtative spin on things. Here's a hint, this is one of those times where your mom told you "If you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all." applies.....

Sure they would. Today is not a date to hate on them, save it for later, for now, let's realize that football is just a game and believe that humane gesture is in order.

- Let's all hope it never has to happen again. For anyone's fans.

That was quite a low blow. You should be ashamed of yourself. Football is a game, and it is not above a human life. Get over any bad blood or stereotypes you have against the Commanders. You know darn well they would do it for us.

you don't do the right thing for what you get back, you do it because it's the right thing to do.
