While I have major reservations about the type of contract he would get, Owens is one of 3 pieces needed to put us over the top.....He is that good!!!

As long as we have an "out" in the contract for WHEN he will act up, I say roll the dice and go for it.....We have to try and win now, unless someone out there figures out a way to get our QB of the future....The time is now with Drew at the helm....Yeah, we are young on Defense, building slowly a solid, make that very solid group...I know all the "lets not screw with that crap by signing a cancer"....but we can win now, with Drew and a better O Line, with Parcells.....BP has that ability to deal with this guy, he has shown it in the past to be able to deal with "high rsik" attitudes.....I say go for it!!! That is the way JJ won in the past, its the way you win now....

No, he's not that good. No one player is that good.

Philly had an "out" in his contract and he did one heck of a job wrecking that team anyway. clauses and addendums won't save you from his ability to divide a team. Those clauses kick in only after the damage has been done. Make no mistake. He will cause that damage again.

BP may have dealt with certain types of attitudes that could be considered "high risk", but to assume that the phrase "high risk" itself refers to only one type of person is silly.

Terrel Owens is in a class by himself when comparing his destructive abilities to other so-called "high-risk" players.

While T.O. was already known as a problem, he was presented with a near perfect situation in Philly. A well-respected QB. A strong-willed coach. A team that had gone to 3 straight NFC championships, missing only a single threat at WR to supposedly win it all.

Now Philly is a team ravaged by locker-room squabbles, has a coach who's second guessed, a QB who's abilities and toughness are in question, a front-office under fire and losing record.

T.O. is not a "high risk, high reward player" he is a "hope you get something out of him before he kills you" player.

Just say no.

I can't believe that some of you fans would want him, or even think that you could contain him. You all witnessed what he did our NFC east bretheren, and you'd wish the possibility of that happening to your team?

go on back to Extremeskins and see how many of your fans want TO..... Before I got banned from that cracker-jack board I read a bunch of threads where MANY fans wanted TO......
