Micah: 49ers haven't faced anyone like us yet either

I'm somewhat more concerned than Micah. I didn't hear his name much in last year's playoff game against the 49ers.

I believe he will be facing Trent Williams quite often. That is a more challenging assignment than last week.

AJ brown and deebo I would say is a wash. Cmc I’ll give you but Dallas Goedert was playing very well before he was hurt so that’s a wash too.
Not a wash
Deebo is a RB who is extremely physical and can take it to the house every play
Brown is WR
I’m not sure where they are similar

Goedert is a very good typical TE. Kittle is better at TE but also runs like a RB and us a much better blocker

We haven’t faced anyone even close because there is no one even close

They asked him if his defense has faced an offense with so many weapons. He responded no but they haven't faced anyone like us yet either.

He's talking about the defense.
I read the comment and gave my reply.

It's a good thing these 49ers you list don't play Defense- because they are about to get run out of their own building.

He is wrong because they faced KC in week 7. They got beat pretty decisively, but had several starters out in the game and McCafferty had just arrived. They’ve played their best football with Purdy. This is a much better 49ers team than the one that faced KC.
He isn't this little run they've been on with Purdy has been against trams like Rams, Seahawks and Cardinals. They played a team like us as you say KC and got the breaks beat off them. Not saying we will do that to them but they haven't been hit in the mouth yet, 14 hasn't been pressured etc

I wouldn’t call an 11 game winning streak a little run. You’re attempting to downplay what they’ve accomplished. Their loss to KC happened in week 7 before Purdy became the starter. San Francisco had around 9 starters out in that game including Nick Bosa. Once they got healthy and Purdy took over they haven’t lost a game since. They’re a much better football team than they were in week 7. Say what you will, but the Seahawks did make the playoffs. The Cowboys have lost to three teams that were sub 500 when they played them. Fans tend to get real overconfident after a Cowboys win because they live from week to week with the team. The 49ers are a night and day better team than the one we just beat. Although the 49ers have played some average to bad teams, they beat them down for the most part.

He's talking about the defense.

"No," Parsons said when asked if they've faced anything like the 49ers' offense this season, "but I don't think they've faced nobody like us yet this year, either. I think we're pretty hard to stop. That's what we gotta focus on, not beating ourselves."

"We're pretty hard to stop" sounds more like he's talking about the offense, but I think he's actually talking about the whole team.

Yeah but you're wrong. You said he was wrong and then mentioned something he wasn't even talking about.
Go ask him to be more specific and prove I’m wrong. :thumbup:He added that people often focus on opponent. “I think we’re pretty hard to stop ourselves. He also could be referring to the team in general. ” Players usually don’t say their defense is hard to stop but they do say it about their offense.

the QB is the queen in NFL chess. if Dak shows up, i think we match up better in that critical position. purdy, as a rookie who has well overperformed so far, i don't think has faced a defense as aggressive and opportunistic as the boys. if they're able to spook him, their house of cards could fall.
