the QB is the queen in NFL chess. if Dak shows up, i think we match up better in that critical position. purdy, as a rookie who has well overperformed so far, i don't think has faced a defense as aggressive and opportunistic as the boys. if they're able to spook him, their house of cards could fall.
We need to force some TO’s. That will help level the playing field

I got no problem with what he said. For playoffs, whatever they need to do to get themselves in the right mental space I’m good with. No team will hear a comment and be any more motivated. No such think as bulletin board in playoffs in my opinion.

Educate me then. Are you kidding me?
SF and Philly have VERY VERY different personnel and therefore their offenses are not “very similar”

Not wasting my time with you beyond this

Sorry to waste your time.

They are different...Philly has way more talent on offense than SF. Their OL is better, their qb is better and their overall weapons are better.

Sorry if you think bc Debo is a RAC machine that it makes it so much different than Philly....

Go ask him to be more specific and prove I’m wrong. :thumbup:He added that people often focus on opponent. “I think we’re pretty hard to stop ourselves. He also could be referring to the team in general. ” Players usually don’t say their defense is hard to stop but they do say it about their offense.
Nah you're wrong. He wasn't talking about the offense at all.

I wouldn’t call an 11 game winning streak a little run. You’re attempting to downplay what they’ve accomplished. Their loss to KC happened in week 7 before Purdy became the starter. San Francisco had around 9 starters out in that game including Nick Bosa. Once they got healthy and Purdy took over they haven’t lost a game since. They’re a much better football team than they were in week 7. Say what you will, but the Seahawks did make the playoffs. The Cowboys have lost to three teams that were sub 500 when they played them. Fans tend to get real overconfident after a Cowboys win because they live from week to week with the team. The 49ers are a night and day better team than the one we just beat. Although the 49ers have played some average to bad teams, they beat them down for the most part.
No I'm not downplaying anything in making it known that we have played much tougher teams, look at the games and the teams we've played compared to them. I much more focused on OUR team then theirs. Tell me if I'm wrong!?. Everybody is making it seen like such a machine ran run that they have been on, yet give us the same run with the same teams and EVERYBODY including half of our fans would down play it! Again they are a really good team but HaVE not faced a playoff caliber and overall good team like ours since KC. And don't say the Seahawks because ....really

You and others are making too big deal about the 49ers soft schedule. There’s really no easy schedule in the NFL, any team can beat you on a given Sunday. The Cowboys haven’t had a real tough schedule themselves. We beat Cincinnati when they were playing their worst football of the season in week two. No way was that the same Bengals team we’re seeing now. The Rams have been terrible all season. We lost to a bad Packers team that had lost six in a row. Our win against Philly was against their backup QB. The Jaguars were three games under 500 when they overcame a 17 point deficit. The Cowboys barely beat a terrible Texans team at home. They had an unimpressive win over Tennessee who was minus Derrick Henry, their starting QB and several other starters.

We lost to a bad Washington team in the season finale who was playing with a rookie QB, making his first NFL start. We just got through beating a Bucs team that had the worst record of any of the playoff teams. We don’t know what Cowboys team is going to show up in San Francisco. They’ve been inconsistent all season. One week they lay a rotten egg like they did against Washington and the following week they play great football. If we don’t show up and play our best game on Sunday it probably won’t be very close. No one is playing better football in the playoffs than the 49ers. There wasn’t a better team at the end of the regular season. We’ll see how it goes on Sunday.

I have seen a lot of Niners games this year since I live about 90 mins from the Bay area. They are a very good, well coach, discipline football team. They did have injuries like Debo had a high ankle sprain for a few weeks. Since they have traded for CMC they have been very good. Purdy makes them good as he takes care of the football but he does get rattle somewhat if you can get to him. There have been some games that I have watched where you say what is he doing. For example his first throw in last week playoff game should have been an int. He threw the ball way over the wr head and it bounced before the safety could run up an get it. I think the safety slipped a little to but on sports radio out here they are talking that they hope he settles down before the game starts becaue they can't get into a hole. By the way, I really hope the Cowboys destroy the Niners. I know that everyone is homer for their own team but sports radio out here think we don't even have a pray and that it will get ugly quickly. Said Bosa will feast on our OL and that Debo and CMC will have a field day against our defense.

On the one hand, I want to tell Micah to shut up! (But not to his face. )
On the other hand, me likey.
That's right, young lion, show you're not scared. Talk smack. Up the ante.
Jimmy Johnson did it.
As long as you walk the walk ... talk the talk.

I'm somewhat more concerned than Micah. I didn't hear his name much in last year's playoff game against the 49ers.

I believe he will be facing Trent Williams quite often. That is a more challenging assignment than last week.
I think Quinn's going to keep Micah from facing off against Williams too often.

We have some wuss fans, Let Parson talk he is playing the game not the fans. I don't care if Parson is willing to make statements like this no more than I cared when Irvin did it. No doubt the play is what counts but Parson and this team will not be intimidated by SF or anyone else. Our fans yes easily intimidated
