Why keep him? Next year he will be the highest paid defensive player (and possibly non-QB) in the league.

Is he worth that? Not in any universe. When he was a rookie, he was the next LT. Since then he has proven he isn't.
in this very universe. where he's been in contention for dpoy every year of his career lol. what?

Play 8 in the box and then only give up 124 yards.
You could play a 7 man front like Green Bay does but it's only effective in third and long obvious passing situations. Everybody knows they will drop 3 back. The only question is which 3?

Try a 7 man front on first and 10 and you'll get wide out screens, draws, and quick hitters that take advantage of the 3 dropping into coverage.

Parsons - no


Side note - I honestly wouldn't mind if Parsons were traded any day.
The smartest thing the Cowboys could do would be to trade Parsons for multiple picks.

It’s also the last thing that Jerry will do because it will be widely perceived that he acknowledges that they need some sort of a rebuild
