Humility - the feeling or attitude that you have no special importance that makes you better than others; lack of pride
Modesty - the quality of not being too proud or confident about yourself or your abilities. "She accepted the award with modesty."
Can you see the difference? Humility comes from a word that means to "stamp oneself down"...it's a lack of pride. Whereas modesty is about not having too much confidence.
To accept an award "with humility" would mean that you almost didn't feel you deserved it...you're of no special importance to stand out.
To accept an award "with modesty" is to be both proud and confident, but not TOO MUCH.
