Definitely has that vibeshut up and dribble boy!

Nah, Jordan talked to everyone and about everyone. Told the world to come get some. Backed it up. Demanded his teammates back it up. Micah wants to be great and wants his teammates to be great. Great players demand greatness from their teammates. People that can't back it up measure their words. To a point. At some point, it becomes counter-productive.
There are rules that supercede sports and media: "In the abundance of words there does not fail to be transgression...". In other words, the more you say, the more likely something unnecessary, stupid or counterproductive is to come out. To then sign up for a weekly podcast? He doesn't need the media and he doesn't need the unnecessary exposure.
And again, once you sign up as a team leader, you bring heat on the entire team. This is why guys like Dak and other team leaders MEASURE their words. You can't do that when you sign up to get likes and clicks during the season.
It's a little too much "I" and not enough "we". Micah is obsessed with his own greatness...but leadership is sacrifice. And sometimes that comes in the form of shutting up.
Jordan responded to questions and was basically vanilla. I was there. He was not commenting on how other coaches run their teams. He was not ranking his current OR FORMER opponents. This is not apples to apples.Nah, Jordan talked to everyone and about everyone. Told the world to come get some. Backed it up. Demanded his teammates back it up. I'm black so...not sure what we are talking about here. This is not about his right to speak, I just said that I love it.Definitely has that vibe
I don't advocate humility, I think humility is a useless tool. I strongly advocate modesty...knowing and being aware of one's LIMITS. Sure, brag all you want Micah, but understand the cost of speaking up and drawing all the attention.Lions are not humble. They are predatory, fight for territory, make a lot of noise, and when they take the pride, they kill the young of the other lion.
Its sort of like football (except for the last part).

You guys are trying to find something wrong with me...tackle the ball, not the man.
The only one having an issue is you. You don't eat your feedback.I don't advocate humility, I think humility is a useless tool. I strongly advocate modesty...knowing and being aware of one's LIMITS. Sure, brag all you want Micah, but understand the cost of speaking up and drawing all the attention.
Lions in the wild do this all the time. They protect their territory like hell, but they know their limits and understand the cost of trespassing.
I hope I'm wrong, but other than "he has the right to say this", I would love for someone to explain the wisdom of what he is doing.
You're talking about media questions man. Jordan never stopped running his mouth out there. Can you imagine if he would have had access to Twitter and a podcast back then? Just knowing how he is you have to know he would have been all over this.Jordan responded to questions and was basically vanilla. I was there. I don't believe you register on my radar. Nerve?Uh huh.
It seemed like I struck a nerve and you went on a multipost rant. You should take Gervin's advice.
Discrimination is helpful here. Discriminate is the ability to see the difference in things that appear similar. People often use that word incorrectly...because the ability to discriminate is a good thing. And modesty is a synonym of humility.
Now with edgy routine. There is how you want to be and then there is you ranting for hundreds of words when called on your nonsense. Several of us have commented on it.I don't believe you register on my radar. Nerve?
Nah, I'm just waiting for someone to make a point. If you notice, you're not the only taking shots...but what can I expect from someone who always seeks the soft comfort of the majority? Arguments from popularity and appeals to likes...
Words have many meanings. If you want to argue semantics we can but it's pretty damn boring.Discrimination is helpful here. Discriminate is the ability to see the difference in things that appear similar. People often use that word incorrectly...because the ability to discriminate is a good thing.
Humility and modesty are similar but not the same.
Jordan was closed off. He talked to opponents in the locker room and on the court. He says in the documentary that he was very guarded about his public image and did not want that side to get out. He wanted "Be like Mike" to get out. You're talking about media questions man. Jordan never stopped running his mouth out there. Case in point: The famous shrug that Michael does after hitting 6 3's in a finals game. He first looks at Magic and shakes his head triumphantly because he told Magic the night before he was going to "give it to Clyde", but once he realized the cameras were on me he goes into "aww shucks mode" and shrugs his shoulders. He was not doing that in public airwaves in the 90s which would have reached millions....whereas Micah can potentially reach people worldwide with his pulpit for things that are happening live.
I don't need to be brave. You need to learn to argue. If you want to make a semantic argument then make it.Look up the two words and notice the difference. Be brave. I don't want to sidetrack this thread, but it's not hard to spot the difference.
You seem like you want to be right...because you've found new and petty ways to be disagreeable without getting back to the original point: How is Micah's weekly podcast during the season where he comments on how other coaches run their team a wise decison?
Cool story. Too bad it's nonsense.
They are examples of him not being the modest individual you want him to be. And you are back to the megalomania. Get over yourself, holmes.these are a collection of random stories meant to say...what? He had a weekly presser where he criticized opposing team's coach's decisions? You just don't get who he was...
