I get he was well-liked and a tactician of a route-runner but was unreliable in the biggest games. Ceedee this past season was more clutch than Cooper has ever been.

The mistake was not getting a better return from the trade and adequately replacing him.

George Pickens went 4 picks before our pick in the 2nd. A small trade up for him wouldve done wonders for this WR group but this Front Office is content with being conservative because they overrate their drafting ability

I’d rather have cut Zeke and kept Cooper because Cooper is actually still a top wideout.

He's referring to Armstrong, Fowler and Vander Esch.

He uses this same excuse for Randy Gregory and not paying him though.

I think a lot of us were confused and stupified by that trade.
Seems Jerry traded him him over the vax issue.
That was very shortsighted.
We ended up with CD and and a bunch of Jags at WR.
