Nope. He needs to be vocal. He’s untouchable and he seems like a decent dude. This team needs his leadership and the status quo from the front office needs to be called out.

Having a bunch of yes men has gotten us nowhere and Micah is the guy who has earned the right to speak.
Quite frankly, if we were more like eagles fans It might put more pressure on JJ to actually go for it… I swear 2/3 of our fans are like sheep that just consume whatever they are given without complaint. If JJ the GM work for any other team he would’ve been fired… On an almost yearly basis going back decades now.

Dak defenders not going to call out Lamb for basically saying the whole team around Dak sucks, but Micah saying he has no idea why Cooper was traded, even though it was probably because he called out the QB, like Micah called out the QB after the 49ers game.

Apparently, he’s not even the best defensive player in the league.

If they had a draft with every player in the NFL he’d be the first defensive player taken. No doubt in my mind.

I think he’d go ahead of any offensive player that isn’t a QB as well.

This big mouth is going to talk his way out of Dallas. The Joneses only forgive and tolerate so much no matter the player. Keep talking Micah if you seriously want out of Dallas.

Maybe this will light a fire under the jones boys to run this team better. Get some quality free agents in here for a change

I understand why they made the decision to dump Cooper. His production had suddenly done a massive falloff at once and this was the 2nd team for which this had happened (not a good sign). The problem though is once they made that decision they had no leverage in a trade as with his cap number everyone knew you were either going to cut him or trade him so nobody was going to offer a high pick for a player whose production had nosedived on two separate teams and who was going to be cut if you could not find a trade. They simply had no leverage.

Why is it wrong for him to voice an opinion? No one who wants the cowboys to win thought this move was smart.
thats not true everyone on this site everyone wants the cowboys to win (well most) and it came with mixed reviews. Why because amari was 2 different players at times and would sometimes dissapear in big games and home and away. I think the biggest takeway from the trade was only getting a 5th.Thats what made it incredibly dumb

Then replacing him with tolbert and and an injured gallup who they had hoped would return to form obviously he didnt. My opinion is that hes voices his opinion more often than he should and he gives me the TO vibe and eventually thats going to wear on team mates and ownership.

I cant stand Jerry and stephen but not sure getting digs on them in the media is best move.

Exactly, and maybe it's time that Jerry learns that he's doing a poor job as a GM. I don't mind that we traded Coop, but, if we were going to do it, we should have been able to get a lot more out of the deal. He's a better WR than AJ Brown, and we could've had an extra 1st like Tennessee did.

We all agree Micah. Only a handful would defend the trade.

Most likely was due to the vax but him throwing shade at Dak was probably the nail in the coffin. You could tell by late seasons he was beyond frustrated not getting the ball. Numerous people broke down games such as Warner showing Coop getting tons of separation and he wasn't even looked at. Hell I think one game they showed him breaking the dudes ankles twice with 5-10 yards of separation and one pass went to a checkdown and the other was incomplete. Coop wasn't even looked at

Most QB will force the ball to the number 1 reciever and let him make plays. Dak won't take that gamble

Plus you know they restructured his contract... one of the dumbest things we've done in awhile

Agreed. It sure worked when Charles Haley was vocal about Jerry not getting Emmitt signed…

Jerry got tired of Amari's big mouth, so he cut bait and got rid of him for peanuts.

Micah is next if he keeps it up.

Maybe it's his plan to get away from this clown show of an organization ?
If so, better sooner than later (get a couple of 1st round picks in trade) before teams notice this guy is making it a habit of wearing down by Thanksgiving every year.
