This is Micah playing Jedi mind tricks like Jerry is doing by letting the universe and Milky Way know that he won't pick up a phone to discuss bettering his before the trade dealine

I feel like he is not wrong. Right now they look like the strongest team in the league. And their front office will make moves to make them even stronger.

The Tush Push is only one aspect of it. Their offensive and defensive lines will keep them in every games. Their weakness right now is Hurts. the only thing I think that can derail them is injuries and they have been relatively fortunate not to see any players lost for extended periods, for the second year in a row.

They also have a favorable schedule. They got Miami, SF, Buffalo, and their 1st game against Dallas at home. The Cowboys get all these games on the road. It makes a difference as we saw in the Miami game where the refs clearly favored the Eagles with 0 penalties to 10 for Miami.

The 1 games that may change Parsons' mind is the Eagles @ Chiefs. I think the Chiefs look more flawed this year but they are champions and I can see them rising to the occasion.

jerry will never let him go, if parsons wants to leave, he will have to not extend, then go thru 2 franchise tags to be a free agent.
Or he could play really bad his last contract year, make it known he isnt going to play hard.
Be funny to see him fly by qb's and somehow just miss them.
Dude’s got too much dawg in him to not give his best effort.

And fans also like to create a narrative that's never been made. Micah has never said he was a Eagles fan the media assumed as much because he went to a Sixers game and he's from PA.
I don't know. I can't claim to have read everything Micah has ever professed or felt. I know he puts a lot of it out there on his own, but I haven't followed every article, report, blog post about his allegiances.

And then there are some like this comment that will be taken by some to mean more than it means, and there are others that are taken to mean less than they mean. Not really worth the effort IMO to worry about what teams he likes and what ones he doesn't. So I'm going to bow out of the debate.

IMHO Younger generations of players look at NFL teams like older people look at companies... Google vs Apple vs Meta; Goldman Sachs vs JP vs MS; Delta vs America vs United, etc. It's a job/social network/work network. Or for these guys a stepping stone to a media job which is a type of celebrity. Plus they grew up online.

If I'm at Google and my buddy at Apple says they pays more with better benefits and its a "cooler" name with hotter chicks - I'm packing bags. That's my view on how players in all sports think about it.

Now if I were in the NFL I'd clamor to Dallas for the sponsorship and business connection opportunities, like look how much crap Dak endorses. Sleep Number gives two rats *** if he plays for Carolina.

Anyway, Randy White fighting some dude in the parking lot is a thing of the past.

I honestly feel like Parsons won't be here for much longer. He will want to go somewhere that's championship ready. Hopefully we can get 2-3 1st rounders for him tho and get a generational QB in the draft. I'd rather have superb QB play than a edge rusher.
I agree. I don’t think he will want to sign a second contract with Dallas, but my reasoning is that he knows his body is not designed for a long shelf life as a 4-3 DE. He knew that this off-season as he tried to add muscle weight to hold up better in the run game….fail. Unless he’s a “love being a Cowboy; Cowboys for life” guy, he will want to go to a 3-4 defense and truly become the next LT. The problem is we will never get 2 #1 picks for a defensive player. Plus, Jerry will think he can sign him up and through his final year and be surprised that he goes somewhere else. I really don’t think it will be about winning; there’s no sure thing on winning. It will be about his career.

Parsons lasted in the draft because he was a LB in college, not a full time edge rusher. He played LB and blitzed from time to time. We drafted him as a LB, and that’s how we were using him in year 1 until we saw just what he could be as an edge rusher, but his career would be better served as a 3-4 OLB.

"Parsons, who hails from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has long been a fan of Philly's sports teams, including Dallas' bitter rivals, the Eagles."

He was emotional because he knew regardless of how good or bad he played he got drafted by the one organization that will give him the most exposure, thus making him the most money, and as long as he's popular then winning is secondary behind money making in Dallas.

That's why most guys want to play for Dallas. They know the star equals money.
Oh good, unsourced speculation from the first thing that shows up when you Google "Micah Parsons Eagles Fan" that has no byline and is from a company that's huge in Spain lol.

Probably a site run by the same company that owns the bot farm you live at. There's no way a real person would be dumb enough to believe that as fact.

It blows my mind that people dont want to hear him talking yet keep clicking/watching/viewing everything he does. Don't like it? Move by it.

I can't stand Colin Cowherd. I don't deal with it by clicking on every link, watch his show, or view any other content of his.

They won't be #1 after we beat them.
I wouldn’t mark that down if I were you. The Cowboys have little chance beating them in Philly. We’ve taken it on the chin twice on the road this season. We’re going to have a tough time staying within two scores of them. We have a better chance of beating them at home later in the season. We’ve been good at home the past two seasons, but the game in Philly could get ugly. I think there’s a pretty good gap between Philly and the Cowboys. They’re a legit championship caliber team.

I wish Micah would just shut the frick up!!! I'm getting tired of him running his mouth. He's getting more clicks on this then sacks on the field. You're paid to play football!!!! NOT RUN YOUR MOUTH! Especially when you been MIA the last 2 weeks-minus 1 sack.

We all know he’s gonna continue with the podcast and all the comment that go with that but my only question is , “ Why do the same homers here that jump on any of us for acknowledging other teams talents, suddenly see nothing wrong with Parsons saying, the SAME EXACT things?”

Is Micah a fake? is Micah a fan of another team instead the Cowboys”? Is this about something OTHER than football? Is Micah a troll?

These are all the nonsense phrases we hear when we admit that other teams are playing better than us or have better rosters………ignoring Micah and attacking fellow fans is some hypocrisy right there.

Parsons played at Penn State and he seems to like talking about how good the Eagles are. I have a feeling that is where he wants to play.
