Nothing related to Watson...but just ANOTHER example in a long list of him being weird.

He seems to want to be a cross between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

At SOME point, his weirdness is gonna affect him.

Hey, everyone has things that they enjoy, and massages are always relaxing. As long as he doesn't do anything bad during them, I'm all for it.

Yup.

Twitter is where I always look for a masseuse.

Remind me, how did Watson find his?

I mea, if Parsons needs a massage, I have a friend here in Cleveland that is pretty good at giving them. I actually was hanging out with him at a party at a friend's house. I also know have a friend at a convention i go to often that does some too. Maybe they can help Parsons.

Really, what does it say about a person that they read a wildly successful professional athlete’s twitter and go on social media to tell others what that athlete should and should not say on their own social media account?

I really don’t know… but it probably isn’t good.

Twitter (before Elon Musk took over) perma-banned me because they can't handle the truth (links included to refute and disparage their lies). Honestly, I have not missed being on that politically slanted ****** website. F**kbook is becoming another. Micah needs to be very careful. People will use your words and intentionally twist them to hurt you. That's the age we are now living in.

lol the point is , it is stupid to say that on social media.
He doesnt need to do that to get a massage.
Agreed…some people think this is about reading the room. All I see is a guy that is not satisfied if he’s not getting attention…any kind of attention. It’s just weird. But whatever…

I see people looking for recommendations on social media every day. The guy is a professional athlete. I'm sure he, like most of his peers has massages regularly. There's no telling why he's looking for suggestions, but it's a pretty big reach to tie this in with Watson's nonsense.

I don't think the Watson situation is something that should be joked about.

I predict this tweet will be deleted once his agent and the Cowboys don't find his joke funny.
It is not the most egregious snarky remark ever made by a football player. It's not mercilessly torching Watson or the massage industry on public media. Parsons may be informally advised to be cautious about joking even lightheartedly, but if he is asked to remove the tweet, that's no big deal either. Why start a thread over it or call for Parsons to stay off Twitter?

How tone deaf can you be?

What NFL player would post this on social media at this point?

THey mentioned this on a show the Cowboys radio people were on or somewhere that as soon as Micah has bad games, they're going to blame how much time he spends on social media etc and doing other things, just be about football and let's go!!

I’m sure Dallas has about twenty of them on staff
You would think that when it comes to taking care of a professional athletes body, every NFL team has a list of people on hand, for every need.

Given the Watson situation, I don't care who the NFL player is, putting something out there on social media about needing a massage therapist for the world to see really isn't the brightest idea in the world.

I get the fact that in the grand scheme of things something like this isn't a big deal, but sooner or later, making jokes or comments for the world to see is going to run the chance of the world "biting you hard" for being misconstrued.

Micah is a great football player and has the opportunity to be one of the greatest defensive player in the game IMO, but I've said it before, he kind of needs to stay off social media IMO as well. That said, it's his life.

Not the massage....it's the "hey let me post every thought i have on twitter so everyone will talk about me Me ME!!!" mindset reality TV stars have....

it's a symptom of a mental makeup that I don't think is conducive to long term nfl success. Obviously just my opinion.... but we all know he's turning into someone who could have a twitter war with Katelyn Jenner or post a tweet today that says "getting an ice cream sundae and having a pedicure at the same place Nikki Manage (sp) does, and I can sing better than her too!" LOL.

Everyone in here wishes he would start acting normal...but only half will admit it, while the other half desperately tries to brush this under the rug and make excuses
