a made up hypothetical. A fanboy special. Ask those 500 people to name the edge rusher who dissappear the most vs good offensive tackles late in the season. I know who would be number easy. See how easy that was?

just saw a video of his reaction to the myles Garrett trade. Instead of just congratulating him, he said myles has been playing inferior competition in the afc and its different in the NFC. That's the guy people think is ever going to lead a team to a super bowl. He seems like an insufferable teammate

Those sacks got us 7 wins two years ago. What good did it do? I like Micah but he wasn’t used properly in our D, so not all his fault. Why pay top dollar to a guy that doesn’t help you win and fades at the end of the season? And Jerry wasn’t going to spend the money to surround Micah with better players either. You all complain about Jerry being a dumb azz but then completely ignore that to make your point.

I guess you don’t want to make the playoffs and like early exits if we do. Micah has faded every year by seasons end. Again not all his fault that he is misused, but he also advocated for it so he could get his bag. And he did. Too bad we couldn’t use him properly as I would have loved to keep him.

I wasn't saying Micah had, I was just saying paying him earlier didn't mean it couldn't or wouldn't. Based on examples like the one you state.

He'll come up with an excuse. It'll be Garrett's surrounding cast being better as he throws his green bay teammates under the bus. Like he's done before (multiple times might I add).
 
At least after Jerry's trade, we have players that will be on the field...
 
It’s been a year. At this point Micah is just showing how much he wanted to stay here. Jerry lives in Micah’s head rent free. Someone in Micah’s camp needs to pull him aside and tell him to let it go and is asked about it to deflect and not get sucked in.

Well, if we are to worry about potential hold outs after someone gets paid you can’t very well pay anyone.

More likely to get holdouts when they get treated like property instead of people

He is missing the worst part fo the equation. Defending the owner who is not working in your best interest.

As fans our best interest is seeing our team get to the promised land.

So we will give Jerry a break on squeezing every last drop of juice out of the fans and the players, but we won't push back when the teams get bounced out of the tournament again?

Our loyalty to this team or any team is not to brag that we were born and died as the loyal fans to a perpetual losing organization. Sports is not about perpetual losing. It is the pursuit of the ultimate goal, the championship.
