My gosh yes.I think we all owe LT an apology.
Boy was I wrong.
Guilty as charged.
"I'm sorry LT. For ever putting him in the same sentence as you GOAT."
He's not even close.

Fans that speak the truth are not haters. Fans that wear blinders and constantly attack the same players, even though they are nit part of the original thread.....those are haters. Just like Fans that only point out the positives are Homers...works both ways. Wear it with pride. You will be told to "get off your high horse" and called a "Hater" for telling the truth
Seems to be a common trait for pro athletesAs well as unable to use a condom.
Ditto ...... Glad you pulled throughFans that wear blinders
So for the record, you’re all for getting rid of Parsons Yes or No?lol nobody ! I doubt he would listen to anyone anyway.
but good find bob, they said twice he was immature, and 3 years in he is not the same but worse !
Hard for any guy like him to mature here with jerry as big boss, and his puppet coaches, and cupcake discipline.
But you said that was all Dak’s fault? Who is it? Parsons or Dak or Rowdy?he had 0 impact in the GB game,I watched him and he seemed to be not trying or frustrated.
Those 14 sacks are meaningless, Sacks are stupid and very flawed stat.
Nice post Bullet.Micah’s talent level is so high it is so important that he be given lots of room and appropriate challenges to grow his maturity to match his talent.
As his draft profile stated, Parsons needs to be mentored. He was only 21 when drafted and he’s just 24 now. It’s not time to give up on a player of his talent. But I do believe he needs to be challenged and in return, he needs to accept the accountability that comes with that.
Talent alone does not automatically mean greatness. It’s time for Micah to grow up and start moving toward greatness. What a shame it would be for him not achieve the greatness he has within him.
Parsons, and most of the Cowboys players have no clue what it takes to win a Championship. Good GM’s usually sprinkle their roster with some vets with cred. This year the Cowboys have none.He doesn’t have to be a “rah-rah” leader at all. But he can lead by example by putting the team ahead of his personal brand. So many young stars today in multiple sports have yet to understand that when the team wins, so does your brand.
I do not agree. First, see when Quinn coached the DL. 2009-2010 losing seasons. He came back to replace Bradley and got the hype of a Defense that was already built to contend for a championship. Travis Jones was the DL coach and he was good. The DL was solid, good and rotational but Bruce Irvin was listed as a OLB, and no DL made the Pro Bowl let alone All Pro like Seattle's LBs, and DBs. Coaching Seahawks LBs and DBs was Norton and Richards, who had been with Carroll since USC.The Legion of Boom had the deepest DLine rotation in the NFL and absolute studs in Redding and Mebane. Clemons, Irvin, Clinton McDonald, Avril, Bennett. All starter quality. The media made it all about the secondary, and Thomas and Sherman were definitely great players, but the primary strength of that team was the DLine.
Great post. All the great Edge's had elite physical abilities. Often they go from unstoppable superstar to after thought in a heart beat. Most because they never fully developed their mental game. Some because their physical skills just eroded.
It would be foolish to ignore the warning flags of history or what we have seen in second half of seasons thus far in his career. Paying Edge's premium long term contracts is generally a cautionary tale.
As long as the man isn't driving drunk, fighting in clubs, beating his girlfriend up, punching his mom in the mouth, smuggling pot in Louisiana or stealing underwear from the mall he can do whatever he wants off the field.I have never questioned MP’s talent or work ethic. But his off field stuff even has some teammates wishing he would back off the podcasts and amount of social media. Great performances in big games would give him more grace in that area. His disappearance in the biggest moments takes away some grace he might have for his off field choices.
Yup.We're playing him at DE.
Scouting reports are amazingly accurate. Yes, there are some who outplay those reports, and some who don't play up to what they should. But in a real scouting report, the scout is simply giving the outlook of what that player has and how it will translate to the NFL.If you want to have fun, go back and read the scout reports of players who have successfully started for 3-4 years. Uncanny how most of these guys have opportunities on what was originally identified in college. Especially the big school names.
So, can't have fun?As long as the man isn't driving drunk, fighting in clubs, beating his girlfriend up, punching his mom in the mouth, smuggling pot in Louisiana or stealing underwear from the mall he can do whatever he wants off the field.
You base your analysis on pro bowls? No tish? Man, that's just bad, dude.I do not agree. First, see when Quinn coached the DL. 2009-2010 losing seasons. Coaching Seahawks LBs and DBs was Norton and Richards, who had been with Carroll since USC.
The best player that came on the Seahawks DL was Frank Clark 2015-2018 and he did not hit his Pro Bowl stride until KC.
My point is Quinn was not very innovative and was not the DL coach in the fame of Ernie Stautner. If Jerry Dumbo Jones stay out of Zimmer's way, he can elevate Parsons.
That's pretty much the entire team. They forgot the mention “disappears in the playoffs”
Closer to a tornado than he is to LTMy gosh yes.

You nailed it when you mentioned is he teachable? Parsons has insane talent but he will never see his full potential without being teachable, being humble, and being open to change and criticism. If he can embrace those qualities he can reach his full potential and the sky‘s the limit. But Parsons has to have a mentor, someone who has his ear. There’s no doubt Parsons has been awesome overall. But the greatest players usually play their best games on the biggest stages. Parsons has HOF ability but has yet to show that talent when it has mattered most. He certainly has time to change that.
He’s still very young and still has lots to learn. But he does need to grow up some. Most of us do (or did) at aged 24. The question remains, will he be motivated to grow and mature some more to be more effective? Is he teachable and able to learn from mentors and coaches? We will see.
