Video: Micah Parsons Exposes DeMarcus Lawrence For Going Bankrupt!

Dallas had a chance to win that Ravens game but they ran right at Parsons again to seal it. He’s a LB who doesn’t want to watch film but want all the glory rushing the passer. Remember when he didn’t go to camp last year but he couldn’t wait to tell Zimmer how Zimmer was going to use him? It was Zimmers biggest regret not doing things his own way. We will see how things go with Eberflus, but if Micah want the big deal he can’t be such a flawed player. It’s like when the Rangers thought Gallo was going to be their franchise player because the shift in baseball towards analytics and hitting HR’s. Problem is he struck out too much and hit under .200 which would probably be under .100 vs playoff pitching. Micah going to garner sacks in the regular season but if we make playoffs they are going to run right at him all game for 200 yards. He’s not worth near what he appears on paper playing 100% pass rusher.

Are these guys seriously trying to portray themselves as victims of anything more than their own stupidity? Referring to young footballs players inability to keep their money as an "epidemic" is laughable. The Lambo virus is infecting them, and they have no natural immunity. Give me a break. In my next life, may the lord smite me with youth and money. Zero sympathy warranted.

On a side note, this is not what Micah should be doing. He needs to focus on his day job.

Masterclass in how to produce a video and build a YT channel with nothing but a grain of fact, a flair for the dramatic and a willingness to trade your integrity for a stack of superlatives.

I bet Parsons is going to be one of those guys who is remembered as much, or more for his persona than his play. The red flags are there.

I've never been broke in my life, and I'm a stinking toll collector. How is DLaw ever broke? I can see it might happen during your rookie contract, but once you get paid that monster contract, ZERO chance you should ever be broke. You would have to be infinitely stupid to allow that to happen.

Many people lack financial literacy or education.

Add to that being young and immature, I can see it happening.

Agreed. But it's nuts. The level of immaturity you'd have to have is stunning. You can't ask someone else why you're broke, you have to have a clue. I'm a high school grad, and if you give me just 3-5 million, I'll never have to work another day in my life.

Some want to portray these players as victims, as if their accountants and advisors "stole" their money.

BTW, its very telling that his father has to call his son for a money bailout (certainly not the first time). The mother and father look around 300 pounds each and hardly look like they were missing meals

The fact us that these same type of people live for "today" and dont sacrifice for tomorrow.

The 73% figure of NFL players that have overspending issues is not surprising

One cancer bashes the other one.

If something is consistent and successful under the Joneses that is that we are able to find the trash that was brought up in the gutter. They really have a hand for that.

I don't feel like this exonerates either of them. It sucks D-Law was broke but this is just a 20 minute video of the guy acting like there's some big revelation coming and all it turned out to be was restating what we already know... D-Law was broke in year 3 and he had a beef with Micah. Both of them needed to step up and didn't. Meh.

I was told it was good info right here in this thread
There's a lot of information I wasn't aware of. Micah did kind of expose this, now that he's gone. I had no idea he was bankrupt. Some of it makes sense now... it was obviously more about money than we thought. At least I never knew any of this.

It is offered to all NFL players. Might even be mandatory, don't know.
Yeah, this was MLB like over 25 years ago.

I grew up around pro baseball scouts and my buddy later went pro. I'm more of a football fan, but I played both.

Yeah this seems a little strange.

Micah wasnt around for Lawrence's 1st contract situation. Then Lawrence signed the infamous Jerry overpay 2nd contract and was pretty much set for life from there. Micah enters the scene after Lawrence has already signed that 2nd contract. So unless Lawrence went totally broke on his 2nd contract money again I fail to connect any of this financial stuff to their beef.

It's like, if the DLaw 2nd contract is not even mentioned, how can any of this have anything to do with anything? The timing of everything is way off.

Very odd.
Well, I think he was less than negative $100 in debt...he's just saying 100.

Am I taking crazy pills? Nothing Parsons said or did has anything to do with Dlaw’s financials. This is a clickbait video, he keeps alluding to something that never comes

And Micah wasn’t ever a Cowboy when Dlaw went broke. When Parsons got to Dallas, Lawrence was counting his fat stacks
Yeah,
I made a similar post.
The timing seems way off.
