Micah Parsons at 245 lbs runs a 4.3. While Devonta Smith at 170lbs runs a 4.4.

I'm glad we got him. He is the best defensive player in the draft and the Eagles gifted us with a 3rd. Say what you want about us needing a CB. We do need one. But not as bad as needing an LB.

Wait a second...you actually believe that 40 time? Seriously?

There was no combine this year so local teams could set things up however they wanted. Pro Day measurements in the Age of Covid are more dubious than 48-hour BitCoin projections. Many would say they are deceptive...Most all regard them as meaningless fiction.

Did we draft the next Darren Woodson? A assassin at SS?
Speed kills.

I think Quinn is a great DC for a guy like Parsons.... will get the most out of him. He did wonders with Wagner in Seattle— who is both a leader and a dawg.

MP definitely has a “dawg” mindset. Not so sure about the leadership side yet, but it was clearly his dream to wear the star. Hopefully he grows into his potential. He has as high a ceiling as anyone in the draft

Well if they didn't give him to Philly he would have been a Giant anyway. Still would have faced him twice a year.
As long as Daniel Jones is the NYG QB I'm not concerned about the offensive weapons of that team other than RB. Philly could actually be dangerous with DeVonta Smith.

Philly was gifted a Heisman Trophy winner by the Cowboys. Micah Parsons better be worth it.

I do think Devonta Smith will be good and I don't totally agree with using our 1st round pick on a LB but at least it looks like we got the best LB in the draft.

Hopeful you’re right but this will be the first year he’s had anything to work with. I think their O line will still be a mess.

On the other hand, if he doesn’t work out now the Giants will have 2 first round picks next year to move up and get a QB.

Eagles got a good player but so die we and their third. Smith will be a handful everytime we play them.

Well we could counter giving the Egals Smith by using there own 3rd round pick to trade up to the top of the 2nd and take our top rated corner

Lololol w what qb?

The problem isn't so much Parsons. The issue is the handling of the draft as usual. We needed a Cb way more than a LB, but we sat back and watched Horn and Surtain go off the board. Ok, so chalk that up to bad puck if you want. Its passive drafting and its why we suck. But we had an opportunity to make lemonade from lemons when the 2 QBs were sitting their at 10. We could have turned that disappointment into 3 extra picks including the Bears first round pick in 2022......which is likely to be a good one. Instead, we drafted another LB...........the 3rd premium pick we have used on the position in the last 5 drafts.

If Parsons is a perennial pro bowler, then this will be forgotten. But, again, the draft management was poor.

If Parsons can continue to refine his pass rush those WRs will need to get open pretty quickly. He's extremely quick and it's not just his 40 time, it shows up on the field.

I think the point stands though that parsons is just as fast and weighs 75lbs more cause they all "*****" pro day numbers. Not likely osu did it but not alabama.

Honestly I think the biggest issue with pro day vs combine numbers is everyone being on the same surface each year as a ref point for consistency.

based on who we signed in FA and now having a rush lb in gregory 2 ILB in LVE and Parsons with smith being SLB we could be moving to a hybrid penetration defense were we look like a 4-3 but are a 3-4. keep people guessing i guess. like big mac said chess piece for the board.
