Yeah. I heard for a year that he needs to shut up and not do his podcast. Well I just listened to the first 5 last week (had covid).

I really don't get the hatred. I was like, it's a young man who just loves talking football. Good stuff.
If it was just that, people can look away. But 1) he's a team leader and star whether he likes it or not. That's how he wants to get paid and he sets an example that others might follow. 2) He writes checks for his teammates that they can't cash. Talks about the opposing team's QB or secondary...well...who do you think is going to pay for that? He was criticizing Daboll for leaving Jones in...***?!? 3) The time he spends scouting teams that are NOT his opponent, he could be mastering his craft.

So yeah, it's football related and it's not the worst thing, but it starts a vicious cycle when you don't live up to your own expectations. Less talking, more leading.

Look, I'm not defending anything he is or has said. But, maybe he fades towards the end of the season because he's over-used during the first 3/4 of the season. I'm not an expert on this evaluation, but I sense he's been in too many plays throughout the year.

"It's going to be exciting, I'm gonna say that," Parsons said. "… It's really not about the number [of sacks I get]. It's really about letting the world know, 'This dude is really the best.'"

Far different from the high sack number he mentioned around this time last year before the season started. Humbling in which he changes his comments!
Assassin ?!

Disappears into the shadows when the stakes are high?

exactly. Hes been more of a Beta Male than an Alpha. Talks and delivers almost nothing when it matters most. Maybe he should start by just playing the game the right way and doing his job. The rest will come later. Football is a TEAM game, not a hero ball sport or Madden. Zimmer will get this kids head right or he (Micah) won't be here next year. I want the guy that goes about his business without much talkin and does his job. This "look at me" mindset gets old. Or, "Im gonna be this or that." Thats just immaturity on display. Maybe he will grow out of it.

Any individual who constantly toots his horn for his own glory isn't likely to be appealing to the public. Sadly, Micah doesn't realize that.

Just between you and myself, I'd first rather be very good and have to then learn team humility and stronger leadership.

They better consider using Load Management with him if that's the case.....maybe play him 1/3 of the defensive snaps or just give him 5 to 6 games off

I would probably wait till after they make him the leagues highest paid non-qb player though....it would go over alot better with the fan base

We all know he is ready to be an assassin today.

How about in December and January?

Micah needs to save a few of those "hits" for the Big Guys after Thanksgiving.

Micah, lad, maybe you could host a pregame party to celebrate your upcoming greatness against the Browns.
The legend of Micah the Mouth continues.
