I remember long ago when there was player loyalty to their team. Nowadays, the loyalty is to the highest bidder. IMO, the salary cap has destroyed the NFL. When l say that, l'm talking about players that take up so much cap space on their teams that they can't afford to sign players to stay competitive. You almost (have to) move on from players like Parsons after their rookie contracts expire. The Jones boys just keep kicking the can down the road and keep the same ol players. What happens with Zeke will be very telling...He is a different cat and doesn't always give fans the quotes they want. He set the stage with his "no problem with the PA teams, likes them both".
Why should he have loyalty to this franchise? Because they drafted him?
I think loyalty in the NFL is an illusion, it is 100% business. Every player is a merc.
