This thread is nuts if you guys ran the team you all would trade CeeDee, Dak, and Micah for draft picks.
If I could get six first round picks and three second round picks for those three guys yes I would trade all three.
I would rebuild my team with players that wanted to win a super bowl not players whose super bowl was getting the big contract.

In doing so I would have nine players with talent on rookie contracts instead of three players making outrageous sums of money that keep you from adding any talent to your team and disappear in the playoffs when they are needed most.

Excited to watch him cash his cheque and get dog walked out out the playoffs again. If we even make it that far.

Sure if you have had recent surgery or rehabbing. But since the last contact he had was in January, there is no excuse for that LIE,
Your forgetting all the contact he had in Japan as a sumu wrestler. I guess he is still recovering. LOL

Not only that but you free up about 50% of your salary cap to bring in the right kind of veterans who want to win a super bowl before it is all over. We have actually done a pretty good job lately finding that kind of guy and they are everywhere. Gilmore, Fowler, Kearse, Hooker, Cooks, etc.

Part of me says he's not wrong. He does wear down quickly before the season ends. The other part says screw that be there with the team and let the coaches help you find balance.

You absolutely have to test the trade market with this guy. As talented as he is, the sum of all the parts doesn't add up to top dollar.

Media and fan‘s new whipping boy. Dak was getting stale.
You noticed it too........:lmao2::lmao2:

Think about 100s, maybe 1000s posts from Dak critics trying to run him out of town since his rookie season, and where did it get them? He's on the steps of signing a new contract $55-60M per year......how crazy is that? What a waste of time.......8 years and counting (LOL)

More then likely your draft picks will make less then one all-pro team. Stop playing fantasy football, Dak, CeeDee, and Micah are the reason this team won 12 games each of the last 3 seasons. You are gonna need a stud quarterback to replace Dak and I am talking about Mahomes stud level for your dream to become a reality. There is only 1 Patrick Mahomes.

People getting mad at players who have yet to get their first VFA wanting to get their VFA contract are funny. It is real easy to virtue signal that money doesn't matter when you have no financial stake in their game. In comparison they have had their wages capped their entire life to this point and it is the most attritional sport by a long margin.

There is a contingent that doesn’t care about Micah’s podcasting, sumo wrestling, misdirected tweeting, and so forth. Many of us aren’t going to cast a negative judgement on the guy due to his legal off-the-field activities. Let’s acknowledge that at least we have a star athlete that hasn’t been in trouble during his Cowboys tenure, while clearly living his life to the fullest.

However, I think it’s logical to have concerns when considering backing up the Brinks Truck for a player whose output does seem to wane, not just in the playoffs, but during the latter part of the season. There’s been enough sample size to call this a trend and not just a fluke. Adding fuel to the fire is Micah’s own words – “I’m playing as an undersized rusher who is banged up every year.” Yeah, I think it shows. And what does this picture look like in 3-4 years? But I can’t blame the player, his frame is what it is.

I’m hoping the coaching staff recognizes this and places the onus on themselves to schematically shield Micah from his annual late season beatdown. Doing so while permitting him to be the playmaker he’s been during the early portions of seasons past is surely easier said than done. Good luck!

As for Micah, I’d like to say he’d serve himself well by better playing the role of team leader and perhaps monitoring the words coming out of his mouth, but truthfully it really doesn’t matter. Fact is, if his playing output dips here in Dallas and/or if his attitude worsens to a point not commensurate with his desired salary, they’ll be 31 GM’s asking their bean counters to find a way to fit Parson under their cap. Talent always wins ($$$$).

The fantasy is thinking you can add enough talent to win in the playoffs while paying DAk CD and Micah a king's Ransom.

It's not going to happen you need young talented players on rookie contracts the more the better.

Players who take up a majority of the salary cap and disappear in the playoffs are doing nothing for this team

All true brother got to start adding guys that winning a super bowl actually means something to them.
I just don't feel like we are going to get anywhere with guys who

are just interested in winning a big contract. Just seems like super bowls are not a priority with these guys just winning big contracts prolonging their careers and making the right business decisions while marketing themselves for the future.

Seems like we've come to a point in NFL history where super bowls are only important to the fans
