They hamstringed themselves when they paid Pollard too much and didn't sign another linebacker.
Well, that is an example of misused cap dollars and it was only a 10M mistake. The stakes are much higher for the contracts of Dak, CD, and Micah.

Micah is a great player, generational talent and ultimately when the pads go on him and the game kicks off none of these comments matter but he’s got worlds to go in terms of maturity, leadership and accountability.

That however has nothing imo with how much the cowboy should and will pay him. He’ll break the bank.
Or does it actually have an effect when the team faces adversity and better teams during the season and especially the postseason.

"Honestly, me and Zim have probably said a total of 20 words together," Parsons said. "He's a very quiet person. All I keep hearing from the coaches, 'Zim likes it [like] this' Well, I like it this way. So I can't wait to sit down with him because that would be pretty cool. Obviously, old school mindset, old school mentality. You know I think he's had a lot of great players but he ain't ever had a Micah.

Sounds like a cancer waiting to happen and I like him a lot but big ego.
He loves Dan Quinn and that is it

Yeah I couldn't care less about his podcast and such.. but this..

I'm ok trying to trade him for a king's ransom. Let's go I to next year with 2 firsts and 2 seconds.

The cowboys will face adversity and there’s always a better team independent of Micah’s quote

actually I am questioning the part about being a generational player. He has the abilities but as a player he is lacking. He is so into himself that he thinks no one else ever matters on the field.
This man is NOT a team player
he’s already in extremely elite company. i don’t think there’s really any question. just can he improve, and build upon his already incredible performance and when it counts

heaven forbid a player use his off time to hone his craft in unique ways
It seems like most of our fans would have cut Lawrence Taylor back in the day if social media had been what it is now. Players can be unlikable. They can be headcases. They can be troubled. And they still can be great and help your team win. Not winning in the playoffs can't be laid completely at Micah's feet, just like it can't be any other great player when their team fails. We live in an age of nitpicking over every action, every word, and then denigrate players based on it instead of what they've accomplished on the field. Parsons, like any player, has room to improve, but he's a disruptive force and we should be happy to have him.

I wish they’d trade him to the Eagles or Steelers so I can hate him even more than I already do. He’s such a classic babbling zoomer. He gives me the ick, in the parlance of our times, ya know
Why would either of those teams want him if the Cowboys don’t? Just because he grew up in Harrisburg doesn’t mean a team in PA needs or wants him.

Isn’t this what we want to hear. He’s trying to have more longevity and stay healthy throughout the year. If anything it’s a bad look for coach Zimmer you’d think he would wanna speak with his star players.

  :clap:Hell, quite a few former Cowboy legends would be cut today. Does he have some immaturity issues, sure, but nothing over the top that is worth cutting him over. Not even close......

I kinda feel like it's all highlighted yellow to make it look like a rant. I'm surprised they didn't throw a bunch of exclamation points!!!!

Trade him. He said it himself. He's an undersized pass-rusher. He won't stay fully 100% all season especially at the end when it matters most. He has a crap attitude. Generational talent, sure, but not worth that he thinks he's worth. Trade him and move on.

He's no leader and the "some people get paid a whole lot of money to be here. I’m not one of them” along with "he ain't never had a Micah" sums it up. I get shades of Owens from him. Great undoubtable talent, but not worth the headache in the end.
He’s never had a Micah. Well he’s had a Danielle Hunter. And Hunter was consistent throughout the season.

I’m so over this team. The front office is unlikeable and so is the best pass rusher.

you’d think the playoff embarrassing loss would have served as a wake up call. But no.

Imagine the outcry is Parsons got hurt in a mini camp.

He's right. Others have done the same thing and got a pass, they just don't talk about it in the press.

Oh well, looks like another all-star, difference-making player quickly abandoned by the fans because he talks about money.
