last i checked dez was drafted 6 years before dak, but somehow his career is daks fault? his career was basically over before dak ever stepped foot in the league....but carry on...the blame lies at the feet of the joneses and no one else.
From 2012-2014 Dez averaged about 90 catches, about 1300 yards and about 14 to a year
By 2016 he was on his way to being run out of town because he "couldn't get open".
Same mentality about numerous coaches and players who had all produced here or elsewhere but were cast away because for some mysterious reason.
We still see it today. Quinn, run out of town on a rail, one game away from the show with a 4 win team. Kellen Moore, whose "Terrible scheme" set Dak up for failure, but all of a sudden has Jalen Hurts knocking on the door of the NFC title game.
People were bagging on Cee Dee early this season. He was trending to be the latest scapegoat for the pro Dak crowd. Lamb was "pouty" and a "diva" and "overrated", right up Until Dak got hurt and Lamb just kept on producing with Rush, with one arm no less.
If you want to say Jerry is a sizeable issue you'll get no argument from me.
But if you want to say it begins and ends with Jerry, no sir.
The most important position on the field has been occupied by a bum since 2016. Good players, and coaches (Dez included) have been kicked to the curb over and over, all in the name making the offense "Dak friendly" (remember that phrase)?
What's it gotten us? Maybe it's time to focus a little more on the guy who handles the ball on every single snap, rather than on everyone else around him.
