Micah to Dez: You could have changed the culture!

Bingo! :hammer: This is why I said earlier, that they both have valid arguments. Parsons is right in that players before him haven't done anything to change the culture ( interestingly, he's not saying it but Dak is included since he was on the team with Dez ). But I'm not sure we have had a more passionate player who wanted to win and lead as badly as Dez since the Super Bowl years. But he never had the respect of his teammates ( never voted captain ) but he tried, no question about that.
When listened to Chruch and Jesse Holley talk about Dez, they always talk about the anin rod talent that kid had. They don’t talk about his work ethic or game preparation. Specifically, listening in between the lines, from Jesse, Des was a supreme talent. Like Ken Griffey jr. Totally different to how he talks about TO. TO was a leader in the wr room and he did everything he could all week to prep for the game and was a student of the game. Moreso than Romo at that time. That why Herry made that’s talent about Romo when he got his extension about putting the work like Peyton Manning throughout the week.

Jesse was Dez roommate during training camp.

Holly and Crayton said dez was a late to practice no discipline player. He needs to stop talking like others have said. Sean Lee or D ware can talk. Not him

Yup this is shameful what's being said right now about Dez not trying to change the culture. Micah may really be too young to remember how Dez even ended up on the Cowboys and what all he had to do that first year to earn the star. Dez has a perspective that not many players will have. When an old head speaks up, the current players need to see that they want this thing to get back to what it was before.
exactly right, also dez CAUGHT the pass that would have gotten us to a championship game except for a stupid ruling against GB.

what has Parsons done that would have gotten us to a CG? NADA

Dez is a lunatic. Guy constantly missed team meetings, rehabs appointments when injured, didn’t work on his technique as his career progressed. And he has the temerity to say he was trying to change the culture? BS.

Well, Dez didn't get us there, did he? If he hadn't reached the ball out, it would have been a completion...and he had a better team behind him.

Dez is giving himself way too much importance about his time here…. He let Dak throw him under the bus and he’s talking like he’s some “V for Vendetta”….

As if it's that simple.

YOU change the culture then, Micah. Go ahead.
