1 month ago this board was going nuts with the chokes and missed holdings on #11.

Now we despise him for complaining about a (very dangerous) cheap shot in the head/neck area.

I think "despise" is overkill. Many just wish he would stop with the social media commentary. This kind of stuff does make him sound like a whiny b---ch. When there is a dirty play, the organization takes it up with the NFL who reviews it and fines the offending player. No need to start a social media campaign to loosen the QB protection rules or complain about lack of fairness.

It's funny that some people want Micah to just "shut and play".

But the owner speaks every time he sees a microphone.

I was watching it in real time and it's crazy how the ref sitting there didn't throw a flag. It's clear Parsons had the ball and the play was over. Yet the Olineman can just dive on Parsons head like that. I wonder if he will be fined?
Officials need to be on some point system when they miss calls or make incorrect calls. The more points they accumulate, the higher THEIR fines will be for being a lousy official.

Fans today remind me of the bloodthirsty savages of old. His play or his media presence, is not the subject. Does he deserve to be speared because of his lackluster play of late? Or, should he be injured because he yaps on social media?

When I was young and football was football. These plays happened on a constant basis. Now, with the NFL rule changes, they still allow egregious fouls; which is not consistent with the discipline being meted out.

No conspiracy, but when players complain as these fouls take place, they are ignored by the refs, or they receive sarcasm. Maybe, players should retaliate to bring attention to the missed calls.

100%. according to the injury report both he and Dlaw are working with nagging injuries. This would explain their slump.

I know they say ref discipline is a behind the scenes matter and they get downgraded but im not even sure if that happens because if you get downgraded enough shouldnt termination happen?

how are you disciplined behind the scenes but you get worse?

If my chef pees in the soup every week and he keeps doing it at what point is "its an internal matter" become "youve been let go for peeing in the soup for the past year?"

I don't care about his point. I want him to SFTU and just play football. He's not splitting the atom, he's a football player. I don't want to hear your opinions on politics, life, etc. You are a young man very inexperienced in life. If you want to complain about the game, complain up through the proper ranks. Social media is poison and you are more poisonous every time you use it to communicate. You are pissing off fans, you will piss off other players in the league and eventually you will piss off your team.

Stop touching social media. His whole adult life he is told he is special. You are only special in football, your mind, opinions, speech, is not special. It's average drivel. Please, Micah, for the love of God if you or your agent reads this, just freaking play the game and do your talking through your play.

"Just play football ", I guess that phrase along with the other demeaning figures of speech, are your mantras to live by. He's more than a football player and he has proven himself on the field.

That's exactly what will happen. People "fans" will grow tired of his crap and not support him. Is that what you want from your star player? People irritated with him, not buying his gear, and having negative feelings everytime he plays.

Is it shallow? Why? I don't follow my neighbor on social media to hear his opinions. I don't want to hear Micah and his useless opinions. He is good at one thing in life, SFTU and do it.

Are you serious? Do you think this billion dollar franchise will miss a few narrow-minded fans? Or do you suppose Micah tweeted this comment to gain fans appreciation?

The only way refs leave the field is when they retire or get caught betting on games. Other than that, "Game On!"
